Very comfortable room. Kitchen full-equiped with a regular fridge. Well located. Would go back. Doors of the cupboards need adjustment . Excellent breakfast!

We had to cancel our stay as there was a tropical depression with flood warnings and rip tides AND the beach then closed due to medical waste (hypodermics) washing up on the beach and beach closing. We lost our deposit as we cancelled 12 hours after the deadline for cancellation. Anchor Inn said it was due to Expedia. Expedia said it was due to Anchor inn. The finger pointing was disappointing. It looks like a great place to stay. Chincoteague is a great place to visit. We hope to find another time to come.

Dear Ann,I'm sorry to hear about the unfortunate circumstances that led to the cancellation of your stay at Anchor Inn. The weather and beach conditions were beyond anyone's control. I can understand your disappointment in losing your deposit but we do have a 72-hour cancellation policy. Despite this experience, I'm glad to hear that you still see Chincoteague as a great place to visit, and I hope that you'll have the opportunity to visit at a better time in the future.

We love coming to the Anchor Inn---always clean, quiet, and great views. Front desk staff member Debbie at Marina Bay was also very attentive.
