We loved Chincoteague!

Great place for the price. 10/10 stay. Only small complaint is that the patio furniture, fridge, and radiators are older and have visible rust damage (but still work fine) and the floors were dirty when we arrived

Great family vacation

My family of 4 plus our two fur children stayed at lily pad! We had a great time and can’t wait to visit again. The location of the house was perfect for us and loved bike riding all over. Thank you for the memories.

Lily Pad

Had a great time at the Lily Pad with family. House is pet friendly and is an older home, but met our needs for our first visit to Chincoteague Va. A beautiful place to visit, hubby is ready to move there he loved it so much.

Filthy property

Arrived late evening and unpacked and went to bed to wake up to wheezing and that odor of dog only to find out everything was covered in dog hair and dirt including the sheets , the floors , d sofas , kitchen and floors . It was absolutely disgusting. We also had no towels to get washed . Wasted that day and the next day after I requested the place to be cleaned which took the women over 4 hours to properly clean. Still haven’t heard back about any kind of refund since our trip was only Thur - Sunday and 2 days wasted . I have never had a bad experience on VRBO until now .

Tara, let's tell the truth now. You called our office very upset that you did NOT read the listing and booked a PET FRIENDLY home. You admitted it was your mistake completely. You did not want to leave, you did not want to change homes. You said NOTHING about dog allergies. We sent the cleaners out and did a complete deep clean while you watched, and tried to explain to you that we cannot miraculously turn a pet friendly home into a home with no evidence of a pet ever being there. You had full linens - fresh sheets, bath towels, bath mats, hand towels, dish towels, and wash cloths. You are not going to hear about a refund, because you are not receiving one. Outright lying about your experience is shameful, and we won't be threatened into offering a refund when one was not due - booking a pet friendly home was YOUR mistake, not ours.

excellent place to stay

Excellent service from Property Management. Nice place in a quiet neighborhood. Nice view of the lighthouse. House is well equipped with almost anything you'd need. (except for large coffee mugs - which is a minor detail.) It would be cool in the summer and is very nice and cozy this almost winter-like weekend. Thank you very much.

Great place, but hard mattresses

We loved this place from the moment we arrived. The view of the lighthouse, across Assateague Channel, from the front yard, was perfect. The space, while listed as only 960 sqft, seemed larger. It was perfect for us - a retired couple, traveling mid-week in the off season. And the FireTV was great - we signed in to our own Prime Video and Netflix accounts, and watched the next episodes of our usual series. But then we went to make up one of the queen beds. Both of them were extremely hard. We chose the least-worst mattress, which had two mattress pads on it, but it didn't help. We had two nights of the worst sleeps in years. I know everyone has their own preference about mattresses, but these were definitely not for us.
