Simply amazing, self contained Annex with sitting room overlooking the garden, large bedroom, bathroom with walk in shower and well appointed kitchen fully stocked with lots and pans.
I only stayed 2 nights and ate out, but for others this would be ideal as a base location to explore the area.
A lovely, peaceful, spacious and well equipped apartment with everything one needs, whether just for an overnight stay or for a longer work placement.
Breakfast provisions and a warm welcome added to my very pleasant stay.
Welcoming host, beautiful garden and patio to enjoy breakfast. Great selection of complimentary cereal, bread, cake, tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and butter, including toiletries.
Great location for Chippenham, comfortable walking distance. Great sized accomodation for 3 people. Highly recommended
Beautiful garden which you could view comfortably from the sitting room. The unit had a comfortable bed and a full-featured kitchen.
We really enjoyed staying here and watching the birds flit in and out of the flowers.
The hosts were excellent. They stocked the kitchen with cooking basics and a lovely continental breakfast. They even baked us a rye loaf and croissants.
This was our first trip with our newborn, and and this accommodation made things extremely easy. We really enjoyed our stay.

A quiet annexe with all mod cons. Comfortable & cosy with well equipped kitchen etc. Would like to have stayed longer.
Very quiet somewhat rustic home stay, comfortable living room, a bedroom, kitchen, with a beautiful view over a pretty garden. Cooking breakfast was pleasant.
We had a wonderful stay at Jean’s garden annex. It was warm and homely, with lots of little thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, beautiful freshly baked bread, and yummy little cakes on arrival. We highly recommend you staying here as you will not be disappointed.
A lovely personal welcome to the Annexe. After a long journey the heating and lamps were on creating a cosy ambiance. It was a lovely touch to find homemade bread and a cake in the kitchen. Great Parking and Wifi. Many thanks for a lovely stay!
Great value for the garden room annexe, lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with shower. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful host Jean, who provided homemade bread and cake on arrival. Breakfast is provided for you to prepare. I'm staying again. Very happy.
We stayed for 2 nights & thoroughly enjoyed our short break. The annex was very well furnished & the kitchen was appointed with everything you could wish for including dish washer. The annex was very clean & we were welcomed with a vase of fresh flowers & a home made loaf of bread. Jean, the owner Also made us some small choc chip cakes. Breakfast is a cook your own affair of cereal, bacon , eggs , mushrooms & tomatoes. All delicious & much appreciated. The garden was superb. We watched the birds coming & going & would have sat out on the patio if the weather had been better. Our only complaint was that we found the bed uncomfortable. The owner has already contacted us to say she is looking into this matter. We would recommend the annex for a stay in the Chippenham area.
Had a great time with family and friends in chippenham. The accommodation was so convenient for us and had everything we needed. Will probably need to stay again next time we come from Australia to visit our daughter.
We enjoyed a relaxing break in the fully independent apartment. Jean was a lovely hostess. We wanted for nothing. The garden was picturesque and private.
home feeling accomodation. I am gluten free and dairy free and the lady both me what I needed. Very nice place and excellent service. Will come back for sure!
Lovely people, quiet, relaxed, everything you need- a little quirky that you make your own breakfast but I had no problems with that (they leave everything out for you). It's a converted granny flat that offers you sitting area, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.
Great felt like home
We had a lovely 3 nights at Jean and Michael's wonderful cottage. The cottage had a bedroom, bath, kitchen and sitting room with garden views and was very relaxing to come back to after our sightseeing.
Michael recommended we go to Avebury and he was right.
We highly recommend the cottage and the hosts.
good base for exploring Bath, Lacock, Castle Combe, Stonehenge, Dyrham Park, Courts Garden, Chalfield Manor, Corsha, etc. Clean, well equipped, nice garden. A bit strange lay-out of the annex, separate hot and cold watertaps.
