Definitely remote, so good to be able to rent the vehicle offered with the villa. Water view was distant but nice, although partially blocked by the Tet Rouge buildings just below. Was great to have the AC in the bedroom for sleeping (note: there is no AC for the 2nd queen bed that is in the loft). The pool was refreshing for cooling off during the heat of the day. The owner was extremely responsive with questions we had after booking. Garvin, the property manager was helpful with initial suggestions for things to do / places to go, just not as responsive on a couple other requests we had while we were there. Overall, though, Kaye Coco was a great value for the money, and we very much enjoyed our time there.

Kaye Coco: A Remote Gem
Publié le 29 mars 2024 sur HotelsKaye Coco is a pleasant villa with great views of the ocean and a lovely lounging deck. There is a small pool to cool off. This is a two unit building, but the other was unoccupied during our stay.
Only the bedroom has air-conditioning, but the floor-to-ceiling doors retract completely, letting in the comfortable breezes.
There is no oven, but a very nice cook top and a microwave. The bathroom is very nice. Please note that no shampoo or conditioner were provided.
The main concern for most visitors would be the roads. We rented a car, but Saint Lucia roads are not for the faint of heart. They are narrow and filled with potholes.
It is not a convenient place to "pop into town" for dinner. Driving back at night, especially after a drink or two, is not recommended. The villa is just steps from the Tet Rouge resort, the have a top-notch restaurant and a lovely bar for evening cocktails.
The grounds are beautiful, with fluttering palms and bright flowers. Garvin, the property manager, was quite helpful arranging rides and tours.

Exactly as advertised. Spacious unit, well equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable. There IS airconditioning in the master bedroom which made for comfortable sleeping. Lovely infinity pool. Unit is 'half double', sharing the infinity pool with a deck divider for privacy. Easy access to Tet Rouge bar & restaurant, 10 minute walk to The View (local restaurant/bar), 15 minute walk to Soley Kouche restaurant (high end), 15 minute walk to local creole bakery (yum!), 30 minute walk to beach and acces point for Gros Piton trail. Friendly people everywhere. Highly recommend a car to get anywhere else on the island. Excellently managed by Garvin who was always accessible for information and assistance. He can provide transportation to/from the airport as well. Will stay here again for sure!!

The villa is in a lovely quiet area with beautiful views. A car is necessary to get around. The interior is spacious. The table lamps could not be used because they did not fit the electrical outlets. It would be great for the owner to provide converters so that the lamps could work.

The property had an amazing view and the host was very communicative throughout our stay.
We had a hard time finding the driveway to the property since it wasn't labeled and had to ask a few locals to eventually find it.
The views are amazing! And everything was as described. We did notice quite a few tiny bugs in the kitchen but easy to overlook. Overall it was in incredible property!

We had a great stay at this property. The visit to this beautiful part of St. Lucia was enhanced with our stay at Kaye Coco as it provided a home base for our ventures into nature and all the comforts of home when at the villa.

Great views, great people, amazing place. I would stay there again next time I am in St. Lucia without a doubt. Greeted warmly and immediately just about upon arrival. If you're looking for a peaceful place away from your typical resorts this is the place to go. The view of the ocean and in the shadow of the Great Piton the views were breathtaking. The place itself is a gem, if that wasnt enough add the hospitality of the staff and you have the makings of a great time.
Michelle arrived daily with smiles an gentle conversations to ask if anything was needed an do housekeeping. She was always pleasant and happy easy to exchange conversation with and helpful. The true star so to speak is Garvin, he is warm, welcoming easy to chat with and assisted in setting up tours, exploring and suggested great places to eat and visit on my stay. The whole experience gave you a very home away from home feel.
Forget about large resorts and get back to the basics of beauty an nature an you will not be disappointed. I would stay again in a heartbeat. A true hidden jewel surrounded by paradise.
