Jolie motel au style sympa

Grande chambre, propre, séjour agréable. A part le Wi-Fi qui est quasiment inexistant. Mais on s'y habitue en NZ

We booked this property because we required a large room with two separate sleeping areas. The room was large and had multiple beds and two bathrooms as advertised. The condition of the property as well as the cleanliness were terrible. The bathrooms are moldy, paint chipped off all walls, rooms smelled musty, all surfaces had marks/handprints/food/white powder on the night stand!!! Absolutely the worst hotel we have stayed at in Christchurch, and we frequent the city regularly. The pool has a resident duck and the spa is missing so many tiles, totally dilapidated. It’s unfortunate as this hotel could be really cool if updated as the building itself is interesting. Pay the extra money and stay anywhere else in the area.

Dear JenniferThank you for taking the time to respond and it is obvious that we fell well short of your expectations and for this I sincerly aploogise.I purchased this property just before covid and had commenced an upograde of all the rooms and the pool facilities. When covid struck, I had no option but to stop this.Now that business is back to normal levels, I have recommenced this upgrade which will see all of the remaining rooms and public areas completed progressively.Once again, please accept my apologies Kind regardsChris Black

No electric blankets on bed as advertised. Kettle very splashy when poured. Very tight parking.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. I felt so welcomed as soon as I walked into reception

The daily room clean was half done, dishes not done, the cleaning trolley was left in the room. There were no electric blankets, no bedside clock, the wall heater worked sometimes, The bathroom taps did not work properly, the towel rails was btoken. The room w as advertised as a 4 Star but was definitely not 4 Star. We let the duty manager know and all we got was an appology.

Close to where we needed to be. Reasonable price. Not too noisy but very dated and needing to be seriously upgraded. I guess you get what you pay for.

Lovely rooms that are well laid out, unfortunately they require a bit of maintenance. Our unit also had a lot of ants that came out in the kitchen overnight.
