Clean and tidy

Pub/Chinese restaurant, fish and chip shop and a corner shop all within 50 yards of the property. Center of Christchurch is a 15 minute walk. Owners are quick to respond to any questions. We did find the hot water system was a bit temperamental, however we were informed that it was due for a service.

Lovely little bungalow
Publié le 26 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a little gem. The property is situated behind the shop and pub, but you wouldn't know it, it's so quiet! It has everything you need and feels very spacious with the vaulted ceilings. We loved it.
The location is ideal as you don't really need your car to get about. We walked to the beach, into town, the local nature reserve and along the river. The next door neighbour was very nice and really helpful. We can recommend the Ship in Distress pub and the Thai restaurant next door, it does a great takeaway

seaside break
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayNice property with friendly neighbours and handy corner shop. Convenient location for walking into town or going further afield by car. Only gripe - sofas very soft and difficult for older people to get out of! Comment - security light above front door not working.

Family weekend away
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a relaxing stay and enjoyed some family time together. The location is great and the Rising Sun Thai restaurant was really good.
We were having a family celebration and was just a bit disappointed that there weren’t 4 wine glasses in the kitchen. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks

A comfortable cottage with all home from home essentials.
Quiet location and parking was easy.
A fantastic pub/restaurant next door, The Rising Sun food was excellent.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property and we are glad that you were happy with the accomodation. We consider the location to be very good. It’s only a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach and Mudeford Harbour. Stanpit Nature Reserve is a short walk away and it’s a 15 minute walk into Christchurch town. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk which takes you to Bournemouth and poole sandbanks. Therese and Dave
