Hello Eric, I am very sorry that you were disappointed with your accommodations. I am even more sorry that you did not reach out and ask for assistance with any of these issues. The first time that we heard anything from you is several days after you checked out with this review. My email and cell phone are provided multiple times in communications with all guests so that I can help make their stay as enjoyable as possible. We do not advertise our condo as any kind of inclusive resort. It is a VRBO rental unit. And while the office staff can answer questions, they are not there to help book or organize activities. We provide all of our guests with an online guidebook when they book to help plan their trip as well as a hardcover guide in the unit when you arrive. And again, we are always available to answer questions and frequently provide suggestions to our guests on the multitude of activities available on St Croix. As for the sargassum, I hope that you understand that this is an issue on all islands in the Caribbean, Mexico and even Florida from time to time. We provide a list of other beaches that are usually seaweed free during the odd times that our beach is not completely clean. And yes, the maintenance staff at Sugar Beach works very hard to keep the beach as clean as possible. The internet connection process is seldom an issue as we provide detailed instructions to all guests. But again, a simple phone call can help resolve any problems before they become a frustration. Lastly, I sincerely wish that you had contacted us about your problems with the air conditioning. By contacting the host about maintenance issues you give them an opportunity to take care of this issue for you as well as time to ensure that is not a problem for future guests as well. Communication between guests and hosts is critical to ensuring that your stay is everything that you are hoping that it will be. We understand that some guests prefer to not be bothered and so we respect that by providing clear instructions through VRBO, our online guide, and the hard copy guide at the unit. Beyond that we are always happy to respond to our guests questions before, during and even after their stay. I hope that your future vacations are issue free. But if they are not, I would hope that you contact the host and give them an opportunity to resolve any problems. Best of luck.
