Beautiful Home Away from Home

Poor value disappointed
Publié le 6 août 2023 sur HomeAwayAt first glance seemed ok as we settled in very poor care ,cleanliness , and maintenance of property .Washing machine out of order not repaired during our stay ,dryer worked only on air no heat ,poorly stocked kitchen ,even the brooms ,all dollar store quality .Communication with management company was on going with no solutions within our week .Texting to me at 4:00 am in the morning….not acceptable.Very polite but no results …certainly would not rent this home .We have rented in the past from another property in Christina Lake much better quality for a lower price.We have asked for a refund due to the poor quality of this home .We will see what the result is.
I have never been disappointed with a vrbo rental in the past .Approach with caution!Disappointed

Beautiful house, awesome location
Publié le 7 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwaySmall town in Christina lake, but the lake wasn’t over run with people, big house, only wish the fooze ball table was put downstairs in that open area rather then in the bedroom upstairs. Along with a bedside table there instead. Other than that, it’s. A great place. No cable, but has wifi. Can cast of your Netflix or other tv/movie apps. Made it easy to put on shows for my granddaughter. That had a huge stack of beach towels which came in super handy. I would like to come back and stay longer. I asked for a little big of a late check out. Hotels run at 11, vrbo’s seem to run 10 am. But if running around early. Would if been nice to have a little bit extra time. Loved the quietness of the small town, deer in the front yard, local grocers for all the food you need, or major grocers in grand forks. I loved it here. I would recommend it.
