Winter wonderland
Publié le 10 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayClean, cozy, comfortable and the stove kept us warm all day and night. We were lucky enough to see Elk and meet a few neighbors. Unique neighborhood in tbe winters and I sure amazing in the summers. Thank you for such a beautiful home.

Peaceful and well appointed.

Not too many places left in the world where you can walk outside and not hear any traces of man (Cars, factories etc) but this is one. Probably the most well appointed home we've ever rented, truly made us feel welcome. I had mentioned to Mike earlier that we were hoping to make it to the home in time to catch my favorite college football team and not only did we barely make it on time, the satellite TV was already tuned to the channel our game was on. Might have been a coincidence but based on the thoughtful appointments of the rest of the home, it just might have been been stellar customer service. Really enjoyed our trip.

Howard and his wife were wonderful guests. They left the cabin in great condition. They seemed to enjoyed the quiet solitude and took time to relax which is the reason to come to the mountain.
Howard, sorry the game didn't turn out the way you hoped.

Blockhütte im Wald
Publié le 9 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayDie Hütte war wie beschrieben wirklich super. Zwei Queen size Betten in den Schlafzimmern, Handtücher, Bettzeug .. Großer Gasgrill und eine wunderbare Veranda. Auch sonst hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wilde Tiere sind dort viel unterwegs. Es war sehr ruhig aber nicht einsam. Nachbarn waren kaum sichtbar. Urlaub für Famile in der Natur ideal..

GREAT Mountain Cabin

Such an awesome winter adventure
Publié le 21 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our second time staying at Mikes cabin. It is an absolute blast to be there in winter. We rented a snowmobile and had a ton of fun riding it to a sledding hill or on the trails in the national forest near arrowhead. Snowshoeing to the lodge in the evening for a burger and a margarita is a ton of fun and we played bingo there on Wednesday. We will be making this an annual trip for sure.

Amazing
Publié le 23 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was very nice. We felt relaxed as soon as we got there. And relaxation was the whole point of ditching the grid for a few days. Plenty of wildlife in the area and the weather was great. We’ll be hoping for a return trip sometime in 2024.
