Baseball weekend
Posted Jun. 9, 2024 on HomeAwayThis was a great place to stay for our weekend of watching the Reds play. There were four of us on this trip and it was perfect. I liked that there was a grocery store in walking distance as well as local stores and pubs.

Great place!
Posted May 20, 2024 on HomeAwayThe stay was very nice, only complaints would be the bathroom had a weird mildew smell and the bathroom sink drained VERY slow, almost like it has a clog. Other than that, wonderful place! Love that the market is right next door as well as a family dollar and dominos. 5 minutes from downtown Cincinnati as well!

Perfect little cottage!
Posted May 19, 2024 on HomeAwayWe loved staying here for an event just over the bridge in Cincinnati. It is clean, in a safe neighborhood, and steps from a marketplace. The little village also has nice restaurants. The beds were all very comfortable, the front porch was nice to sit out on, surrounded by beautiful forestry, and Clean with all the amenities you will need. Highly recommend.

MLB Reds Opener
Posted Apr. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayMy husband and I decided to stay here for the weekend MLB season opener. We found it a great location and easy travel to Cincy. We would stay at the property again. It was the perfect size for the two of us. We liked having the privacy of a little house rather than spending the week in a motel. We also liked the convenience of private parking in the back of the residence rather than fighting for street parking.
We had a few small negatives that did not damper our stay. First, we checked in on Wednesday afternoon and I assume the people who rented before us left fairly recently. The two rollaway dumpsters were full. I am uncertain if the trash did not get pushed out to the curb for that week's pickup or if the previous renters had that much trash but it was hard to fit our small amount of trash in the bins before we checked out.
The house did smell a little bit like marijuana when we checked in, but I left the doors open for a little bit and it aired out quickly.
Also, the property is adjacent to a gas station/convenience store. The noise could be a bit annoying early in the AM.

Charming RAT INFESTED Ludlow cottage
Posted Nov. 17, 2023 on HomeAwayOlder home with modern chic decor in a quiet neighborhood. Great location just a 10 minute drive to downtown Cincinnati that has free parking as well as convenient access to local grocery store. The home is dated and nothing fancy but serves its purpose as 2 bedroom stay with kitchen and living room amenities with one huge drawback…RATS. Upon returning to the home after being out all day we were met with scurrying rats through the living room and kitchen. Rat droppings were found IN THE BED SHEETS we slept in, they had eaten through a sealed snack bag of granola bars and left more droppings only later to be found in between clean clothes in the bottom of a backpack. If you are comfortable sharing this home and your food with rats and the health risks they impose it would be a great rental for your stay.
Keep in mind Evolve will be useless in your concerns as they believe a home with an active rat problem and droppings in your belongings is acceptable and feels $87 compensation with no offer to relocate you is more than “fair”.

Posted Oct. 11, 2023 on HomeAwayThe house is quaint and exactly as described. It for our needs just fine. I would stay there again. The neighborhood seemed safe and I didn't worry about my vehicle parked in the back yard (instead of on the street).
