The room smelled like garbage (really bad). We should have requested another room right then, but I asked the manager to have the cleaning staff do a cleaning while we were out for the day... He said he would take care of it, but when we returned late that night nothing had been done, room was the same as when we left and it still smelled. When I asked the same manager about it as we were checking the next morning, he remembered me and just said there are 4 other managers so it was not his fault the room was not cleaned. Lesson learned, I will never stay at a Comfort Suites again! The hotel was generally a dump. Maybe other Comfort Suites are in better condition but I do not plan to find out.
