Posted Apr. 27, 2024 on HomeAwayThere are no houses visible on this side of the river. The view to the other side is incredible. The location is quiet and peaceful. The owner was very accommodating and any of our needs were met quickly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautify place to stay in the valley.

The view!!!
Posted Aug. 7, 2023 on HomeAwayAmazing view and lovely quiet area. We found a couple of local restaurants with delicious home cooked food and really cheap! Lovely local boat trips, we went twice. Marcos was really good at communicating and the property is big and well equipped.

Amazing View
Posted May 8, 2023 on HomeAwayWe really loved the deck overlooking the river. Nice fresh air and a great place to hang with friends. We took lots of day trips from here and Marcos was great about sharing restaurant ideaa with us. Would stay again.

Host was so responsive and organized. Went above and beyond to make sure we made the most of our stay. This is an example of how a VRBO should be run.
We hope to come back again for a longer stay! Thanks for sharing with us, we sincerely apprrciated your hospitality and the experience.

Great Douro retreat.

Owner was quick to respond to any message, gave us local recommendations, and overall it was a stress-free, 5 star experience. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing, as is the host. Beautiful view, great amenities, we were able to wash clothes and cook meals. Paradise.
