Très bel hotel rénové. Demandé le dernier étage car les planchers craquent, ce qui nous a réveillé pour la première nuit. Les lits des 2 chambres étaient superconfortables.

Went for a wedding and the food, service, drinks, etc were all fantastic. Room was a good size and clean etc

Disappointing
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur Hotelsdisappointing is the single word to sum up our stay. The brasserie and public spaces are excellent, but the rooms whilst having had a make over are quite poor. The beds haven't been changed and are rock hard with lumpy pillows. The wardrobe/hanging space was ridiculous, with the fridge etc taking up the bottom section there wasn't enough room to hang a jacket without it dragging on the shelf below. Ladies, forget hanging anything up. Also, if you plan on using the gym whilst there DON'T!! It's filthy and poorly equiped, it should even be mentioned as really it doesn't exisit in a useable state. Given the cost of rooms here, I expected much, much better and will not be back despite being offered a free B&B stay for a night to make up for the poor experience.

Dear Nick,We are very sorry that you were so disappointed with your stay and have taken all your feedback on board, as discussed at the time. Unfortunately, prior to your stay, the gym had been used to store furniture from the Vaulted Cellar, so was quite dusty as a result although we refute it was filthy. It has now had a deep clean. Our beds and pillows are often commented upon for being very comfortable so we are sorry this was not your experience. You are absolutely right regarding the wardrobe in that particular room and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. With best wishes,Joanna

Dear Alison,We are sorry you were disappointed that breakfast was not included but the room was booked on a 'room only' basis, which must have been known prior to arrival. The rooms you had were beautiful and located in a prime position overlooking the Market Square, the cost of which would be comparable to others of a similar standard on a Saturday night in the Cotswolds.
