Garden view breakfasts

The breakfasts were amazing, lots of freshly cooked choices as well as continental buffet. Reasonably priced evening meal, which was delicious. Very accommodating for people with dogs. Very pleasant mini break in a comfortable and welcoming place.

Smashing hotel and spa

Excellent breakfasts and dinners,staff helpful and efficient. Had to request room change as we were up a spiral staircase that we found difficult to navigate so we ended up with a smaller room with no outlook. I realise that I needed to request accessible room on booking so will remember this in the future as we age!!

We had a very nice stay at the Stratton Hotel. The rooms were comfortable and staff was very nice and accommodating. Beware the spa, worst massages I’ve ever had. They are very nice but the young ladies had no idea how to masssage, the sheets were itchy and oils smelled off. Maybe other offerings are better and it’s very convenient.

This is a really wonderful hotel. From the moment we stepped through the front door, there was such a lovely warm welcoming friendly feel to the place. The staff were all wonderful, too many to mention by name, but every one of them being extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Emma, on reception, really made this place as she was friendly, bubbly, always happy and smiling and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in room 11, which was a feature room overlooking the garden and this was an extremely spacious room, beautifully decorated. We will definitely be returning to Stratton house Hotel & Spa.
