Wonderful place to stay!

The Italian charm of the apartment. Restaurants were everywhere, which is good , but it was noisy at night. Turning on ac solved the problem

Authentic Italian flat
Publié le 20 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe couldn’t have been happier with this property for a quick overnight stay before our cruise embarked from the Civitavecchia port.
The property is well represented in the listing & pictures, and the property owner very attentive & helpful for everything needed.
We thoroughly enjoyed the location, as it sits tucked up above a bustling side street with restaurants that had a much more authentic feel (not sure how many tourists would naturally find themselves here if they didn’t have a reason to.)
With both a backpack & piece of luggage each, we found the walk from the train station to the property to be manageable (cobblestone streets are slightly tough on the luggage wheels). We also walked to the port the day of embarking which was longer & a little trickier, mostly because we didn’t fully know the best route to the port buses & had to figure that out on the fly.
Would definitely book here again for a stay in Civitavecchia, thank you!

Explained everything, suggested restaurants and directions to cruise ship. His apartment is very clean and neat and everything you need. Exactly as shown in the photos.

It had a vibrant, Italian community surrounding you. The apartment was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. We could easily use it for a home base when travelling in that area of Italy again.

Perfect in Every Way

Perfect location to access the port. We walked, was about 15 minutes. Nice central neighborhood surrounded by many affordable restaurants and shops. 7 minute walk to the beach. Everything we needed for an overnight visit between cruises.
Checkin was very easy as the host met us and got us in. Pictures are accurate, it is actually even nicer than the pictures show. Felt very at home and cozy.
Thank you for sharing your home, we loved it and look forward to returning.
