Comfortable room - guest information needs work
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HotelsThe exterior 1800's charm lost it luster upon entering because of a strong 1800's house odor that was off putting. Fortunately, the odor was not present in our room. The many stairs would make it difficult for those with mobility issues. Our room was clean, comfortable and convenient. Shower was great and hot. King bed was wonderfully comfortable. Lack of available guest information about wifi password, breakfast menu and times got us off on the wrong foot with the host who grudgingly accommodated us and our lack of understanding of what to expect. The breakfast portions were on the light side, and the same over our stay, but tasty. The guests and host would be happier if there was printed information in each room about breakfast times and menu options if any, local restaurants and check out time.

Beautiful and Comfortable

The old house is still as lovely as ever and the antiques are interesting to look at. The room was spacious, the bedding remarkable and breakfast was amazing. The pull out sofa was not as comfortable as our king size bed but she survived. We will not wait so long to go back....

The restaurant looked very elegant. And the girl who served us breakfast was very pleasant. And the food was good. The rooms are very clean.

It was a great place! I was able to check in early which was wonderful n I was grateful for it after a long drive. I liked the set up of the room, I loved the lil porch to our room. Very very clean! Good breakfast! Amazing book collection! I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area

Luxury and confort
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HotelsMy wife and I love to stay in quaint B&Bs, and this one is a perfect example. It was our second stay there, but with a new owner, and we were just as happy as the first visit. Our room was spacious, comfortable (good AC), and clean, and it’s always nice to find the bed made when we return from a day of activities. Good hot breakfast is included — the quiches were delicious, but we’d suggest something different the second morning. Glad to find the mini-fridge in the closet. And thanks for carrying our luggage to the second floor.
