Wonderful B&B in the true sense of hospitality. Hosts were exceptional going above and beyond. Beds are comfortable. Rooms all with private bathroom. Clean and tidy and as charming as the hostess. Breakfast was the best and largest meal we have eaten for three weeks in Ireland. Close enough for an easy trip in to Galway.

Maura and Michael are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was very good and it was a good sendoff for a full day ahead. Like most B & B’s furnishings are dated, but they are clean and comfortable. We enjoy looking at family photos and learning about our hosts.

This was a lovely bed and breakfast in a very quiet neighborhood . It was nice to be able to take a stroll down to the bay . Maura and Michael were very welcoming and were more than willing to accommodate our needs .

A pleasant stay

Springlawn is a lovely country home just minutes from the shore. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Very good value.

The hostess could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. She truly went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Also, this is a bed and breakfast. Due to my schedule I had to leave early. She set up the coffee pot, left juice for me, milk and cereal, brown bread, muffins, butter/jam and fresh fruit - all tastefully presented. Drawbacks - very residential neighborhood. Few choices for dining and those you have to drive to. Everything closed by 8pm.

Michael an Maura are a delightful couple. The home was very clean. A bit disappointed in the breakfast. At the other B&Bs we stayed at, they had a lovely breakfast bar in the morning, so that’s what we came to expect. The facilities were a bit dated. Other than that, it was a lovely experience.

Maura and Michael recreated the old days of BnB where we felt like respected house guests. Room and bathroom were spacious, clean, well-appointed and functioning well. Old world charm in lounge and breakfast areas. Wonderful breakfast selections. Thank you, and live long and prosper :-)

A Hidden Gem !

Maura and Michael were delightful hosts.. they were very friendly and we couldn’t fault a thing about our stay. Bed was comfortable and our room was spotlessly clean. We also had a menu for breakfast which was cooked exactly as we asked and it was delicious. It’s been a long time since we stayed in a B&B and only stayed as hotels were all booked out but after staying here we found it was as good if not better than some of the ( trendier) hotels we have stayed in.. There’s not like the personal touch and that what you get with Maura and Michael as Springlawn.. We highly recommend!!😊
