Could use a remodel

The stay was overnight and we usually stay at Motel 6 because the dogs stay free. We love that! It was definitely quiet which is a huge bonus. However, this particular location could definitely use an upgrade. Lamp shades were stained. Electric outlets didnt work (and the ones next to sink for a hair dryer were facing the wrong way). The lights in between beds didnt even turn on, the AC didn't work properly. We managed for the night, I'm simply saying that the motel could definitely use a remodel.

Stayed at the this property a few years back and had a decent experience so I though to stay here again especially since it is pet friendly. WORST decision ever!!!! My fiancé and I had to leave the property even after a room change. The non smoking rooms smells like smoking rooms. Bed sheets had stains on them. There was blood behind the bathroom door in the second room. Had to argue with the manager to get a full refund. The property also blindsides there guest with a deposit that was not disclosed at booking. STAY CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE.

There was hair all over the place, on the bed, inside the sheets, clumps of hair and dust behind the end table, hairs of all sizes in the shower. The bathroom was dirty, the toilet seat was broken, the knobs for the shower barely worked. The room smelt musky and moldy. The door didnt latch very well and had a crack in it, you could see outside. The lobby itself was gross, holes in the wall and water stains on the wall and ceiling. There was couch that looked like it seen better days. The neighborhood was unsafe, sirens all night and we could hear gunshots. The beds were very uncomfortable. The rooms and beds looked like they havent been cleaned in quite sometime. We did check for bedbugs and didn't find those at least. We stayed long enough to sleep for a bit between driving a long trip.

Front desk staff was friendly. Structurally room was poor - trim falling off or missing, room front door doesn't seal all the way on the bottom. Shower doesn't spray - only poured out of the shower head. Food and dog food all around the bed frames, dresser, and night stand. However, the beds were clean and actually comfortable.
