Perfect “Off Grid” Weekend

Peaceful Stay on Buggs Island

Nice quiet getaway
Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhst a hidden gem. We stayed here because we have relatives in the area. We had much needed peace and quiet. We brought a dvd player beacause not used to no background noise. The road to the house is long and secluded. Very nice place to stay.

Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIf you want to get away from it all, no phone, no TV this is it. Small walk to the fishing pier and bait shop is close by. We had to leave early because Mother Nature caused some issues but definitely would love go come back again. Great place recharge, and remember to bring OFF bug spray and citronella candles.

Remote Cabin Anniversary
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayVery remote, which is what we wanted. The Cabin was quaint and perfect size for 2 plus dog. Loved the trail to the dock and all the surrounding woods. We enjoyed quiet reflective time for reading, but also the Lake was awesome for kayaking and fishing. Weather was a little rough but still had a chance to enjoy the firepit and cook out. Overall, very nice place and may be looking to return in the fall when it is cooler.
