Nice older home

Just remember it’s a old house and things aren’t perfect. Character.
Road is busy out front but very near downtown.
Overall a good value and where it matters, they excelled.

LOUD TRAFFIC AND BUSY STREET
Publié le 23 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayExtremely busy intersection without a fenced in backyard, which is assumed based on the pictures of the yard. Highly disappointing for my young children. Roaches and spiders found alive and roaming. Grass was not cut prior to our stay and is probably 6-7 inches tall, that you have to walk through to get to the front door. There is no walkway. Beautiful remodel, but definitely would not stay again bc it did not fit our needs and the advertisement was misleading .

Alejandro, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-We have not received complaints about nearby traffic but it is downtown Clayton so there will always be some traffic. We're sorry if this disturbed you during your stay and made your children uncomfortable.
-As for the roaches and spiders, we were unaware of any apparent issues. We have contacted our pest control service to inspect the property and eradicate any presence of critters. The home is treated on a monthly basis so we expect that this wouldn't be a recurring issue.
-We have landscapers that maintain the grass biweekly but we had a lot of rainfall the week of your arrival which sped up growth. Moving forward, we'll try to have the landscapers visit the property more often when it rains more than usual.

Fantantastic stay
