Clean property, great view/location
We had an amazing time here! No complaints, but a couple things to be aware of: the fridge has no water dispenser, so be sure to buy bottled water (unless you’re fine with tap water) before checking in, as well as olive oil and aluminum foil (if you plan on cooking).

Trip for family wedding
Loved the cabin, beautiful view and the accommodations were very nice. Lots of room. My only complaint was the path to get to the cabin. Definitely, follow the directions given. Its a one lane road. We truly had a great experience but the gravel road was more challenging than expected.

Property was great. View was tremendous. Will be a trip we will always remember as we had a fantastic view of the Northern Lights!! First time ever and my pictures are better than any others I've seen. Wonderful from the balcony. The wedding was also fun and the property worked very well.

Beautiful, clean cabin - gorgeous view!!
This "cabin" is really an updated house with beautiful touches and convenient features. It has a luxurious, yet relaxed vibe that our family loved! Its very clean, well-organized, and has supplies to make vacation easier (including kids dishes, water bottles, and sticks for roasting marshmallows). The view is gorgeous! The road to get up the mountain is rustic. We suggest using the "alternative" directions provided, unless you have a 4x4. Definitely a 5-star property!

Simply Breathtaking
I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay! We booked this cabin for my birthday. It was just my husband, myself and our 2 pups. Everything was absolutely perfect. The house was super clean, they had everything you could possibly need (you can tell a lot of thought went into that), the views were incredible, the host was super responsive, the neighborhood roads were great for walking our pups before we set out to hike each day (they even have a few books that help with that!). I seriously can't say enough good about this place. We will DEFINITELY be back! I did not want to leave.

Very nice house but there are really only two bedrooms. The “third bedroom” was a bunk bed on the lower floor Wothe pool table, tv, etc. No privacy. The second set of bunkers is in a walk in closet in the Master Bedroom. Worked fine for us but was a surprise upon arrival.

Awesome mountain view from porch!
Beautiful, private porch with a stunning mountain view. Property was VERY CLEAN and homey. Great downstairs kids area with lot of games...our kids loved the bunk beds. Host was receptive to several questions we had throughout our stay and our need for a repair man. We appreciated the ammenities provided, such as basic pantry staples, laundry detergent, laundry stain removal spray, etc. We hope to be back next summer!

What an amazing find! An absolute gem. Nestled on the mountainside, you'll enjoy sweeping views of downtown Clayton as well as the surrounding mountains. Both balconies offer incredible views and ample seating. We discovered amazing hiking trails close by. Town is only a short drive away with access to restaurants and stores. Best of all, the property is quiet! The only sounds we heard every morning as we enjoyed our coffee on the balcony, were the sounds of roosters and the wind blowing through the trees. The owners are timely with their communication. Check-in and check-out instructions were very easy to follow. The house is spacious, clean and immaculate!

Comfortable, attractive furnishings, well stocked kitchen, great set up for two couples or two families. Bedrooms and baths on different levels. Downstars has a pool table, TV, games and books. Large porches on both levels. We enjoyed our stay.

This place was wonderful and peaceful. The home was spacious and clean. We had a small issue that was quickly and effectively responded to. Would love to stay here again. It was super close to many great hikes and there were even little waterfalls on the nearby streets which made walking our family dog a joy!! Thank you for a great stay.

Fantastic Time in Clayton
This was probably one of the best properties we have ever visited. The views are amazing. The layout is open and beautifully decorated. The amenities and supplies are so well curated. My wife loves to cook and the kitchen had everything she needed to prepare great meals! It was so well stocked with all of the essentials - it felt like home. It was a great place to see all that the area has to offer from the Tallulah Gorge (beautiful!) to Highlands NC where the kids when snowtubing at the Highlands Outpost! We hope to be back. Great hosts and amazing property!

Weekend Getaway
I booked this property to spend a relaxing weekend in the mountains with my husband. The property had a fantastic view of the Smokey mountains. It was so beautiful! The house was clean and spacious. It came stocked with a full kitchen and plenty of fun board games and activities to do during our stay! Despite the rainy weather we had the best time staying in, enjoying the view, playing board games and cooking together! It was a little piece of paradise. I couldn’t recommend this property more! The hosts were very friendly and easy to reach! Despite being a house in the mountains, it was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking even though we only had one car with us. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful Home
Loved the home perched on the side of Screamer Mountain. Everything you need is there - including coffee. Beds were super comfy. Views are beautiful. The town of Clayton is only a couple of miles away and has lots of fun shops and restaurants - more than expected. Would suggest AWD car in winter in case of weather on the mountain. Loved it!

Christmas in The Mountains
Our family loved the cabin! The main bedroom was large with a comfortable bed so we slept well. The downstairs area was fun with a pool table, darts, and games. The cabin is decorated with current trends and nice touches throughout. A Christmas Tree was set up for us which we really appreciated. There was a cabinet set up with everything needed for outdoor adventures-hiking gear, blankets, bug spray etc. which came in handy as we went on a hike everyday. There are many beautiful places to hike nearby all within a twenty minute or less drive.Groceries are close too. The road leading to the cabin is a bit narrow and bumpy so we just drove extra-slow. We stay in a mountain cabin every year and we really enjoyed our stay here.
