We stayed in the Schitt's Creek themed room and it was amazing! The attention to detail was unmatched. A great stay for fans of the show. Besides the theme, the room was wonderful. Very clean and Pia, the owner, really does go above and beyond adding special touches that make the stay very enjoyable. We will be back again!

We are a "chain" hotel family. We reached outside of my comfort zone to stay here. I was nervous upon booking. Upon our very easy check-in, we found our room (#6 The Viking Room) exactly as it appears on the website. My nerves were quickly laid to rest and my vacation began (7 nights). My husband was slated to be a Marshall for the BASS Elite tournament. This meant my staying behind. Everything was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is small but as someone else said "who cares." The sink is located outside the shower/toilet room. We had a fridge, a table with two chairs, a large closet with hangers. We had access to a wonderful firepit, bbq grill, and seating area. We asked for extra wash clothes and towels and received them immediately. It is located in a great area of the small town. I walked everywhere enjoying the local community and fare. Pia (new owner) did an amazing job renovating each room and putting her personal stamp on each. She is talented, creative, smart, and courteous. Pia does well serving her patrons.
Easily, we would stay again and again and again. I cannot possibly speak highly enough of this wonderful diamond nestled away in a neighborhood and the change in my attitude of chain hotels only. Loved our visit!!!!!!!

My wife and I DID NOT STAY THERE! When we arrived and looked at our room we were Very Disappointed! It was not what we were expecting from what we had seen on the website. Very Disappointed

You also left out the part where you were so abrasive, I had to call a deputy to escort me to your room, where you berated me over the size of the sink, and said the bed was “lumpy dumpy”, which it definitely is not. You complained about there not being an outdoor light, as you were standing underneath it, when I said “sir, look up”, you proceeded to tell me how you were going to do just this…leave a bad review, but, there wasn’t anything to pick apart, bc there was nothing wrong with the room. I worked very hard renovating every single room, and have NEVER had a complaint, little alone someone so angry and mean as you were. You continued to harass me into the next day, when I told you I would call the cops again, you told me you would pray for me. The pictures portray exactly the room, bc I took the pictures OF THE ROOM. You came to a village, we don’t have big chain hotels. We have small, mom and pop motels, or a freshly renovated woman owned boutique motel. It saddens me to read this review, but doesn’t surprise me.

Lovely intimate motel conveniently located near the center of Clayton. So extremely convenient. Room fulfills one's basic needs; i.e. nice bed and TV and quiet. Bathroom small, but who cares. Would stay here again!!!

The property was close to attractions and down town. The property was advertised as king size room. Very small and even smaller bathroom. The WI-FI and TV was poor.

Hello Steven, it looks as though you stayed in Room #4, which is a KING BED, which was advertised as such. It has a dresser, vanity, 2 chairs with table, microwave and refrigerator, and is one of the larger rooms to fit those amenities. I'm sorry your experience with my WiFi and TV was poor, I wish you would have said something while you were here, I could've helped you figure these issues out. I am a one woman show over here, and new owner, feel free to reach out.

New owner has completely revamped this property. Each hotel room has a unique theme. Owner is highly responsive.

The showers need to be upgraded. The drains weren’t working well.
The room we rented was clean; however, the floors and shower hadn’t been cleaned just prior to our arrival. There were dead insects in the shower and the floor had not been swept recently.

I just bought this property March 25th, and had to go thru a major reno to the property after finding the toilets were all broken, the subflooring and floor joists were rotten, water main break, and mold in the walls. so everything in the bathrooms, got replaced, walls, subflooring, floor joists, the actual flooring, sinks, faucets, light fixtures, mirrors, and a fresh paint job. The showers are next, but considering we did not expect to have to replace the rest of 6 bathrooms, time and money prevented that upgrade. Your drain was addressed with new pipes under the motel immediately. I clean, by hand, every shower, sink, toilet and bathroom floor, and I vacuum/mop every room. the motel has been sprayed by a professional insect company at the beginning of the season. I do however, leave the doors open to the rooms as to air out the disinfectant smell, so if a bug had made it's way into your bathroom, I apologize. It's a summer river town, there are bugs sometimes, but I can guarantee you, I keep a clean place.

This place is so nice and very friendly Ryan was very helpful and always asked if we needed anything would recommend this hotel to anyone
