Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HotelsVery nice hotel staff are really friendly and helpful the breakfast was perfect it says continental breakfast but theres also bacon poached egg scrambled eggs and beens available so 10 out 10 for that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable how ever if there was 1 slight concern when we switched on the shower there was an annoying loud buzz coming from i assume the pump that was actually in the bedroom area which unfortunately when i showered at 6am it woke my partner up which didn't go down well as you can imagine 😀 apart from that i highly recommend the hotel and we can't wait to return

Some minuses for a bit too expensive hotel.
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HotelsThe hotel is not the cheapest once in Cleethorpes, but it's near to the beach and town center. Inside it looks really great, and the rooms are clean. The lighting in the bathroom is a bit dark, and I missed a light over the mirror. Bed is comfortable, and I really enjoyed that there was a fridge to have cool drinks. I also received two bottles of water every day, and that's a nice gesture. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Not full English breakfast, only eggs, bacon and baked beans. I really missed sausages and maybe hashbrown. Mushrooms and tomato would also been nice. The breakfast is only to 09.00 in the weekdays, but til 10.00 in the weekend. The breakfast room was very small, so when the hotel is full, it's not easy to find a spot to eat. Outside in front of the hotel, they had a bench that was totally rotten, they should really change this with a new one. A good Cleanup in front of the hotel could have made it nicer to sit there. The staff was really helpful and nice, so would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Anniversary Stay
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HotelsWe stayed at The Burlington for two nights in the small double room, which was absolutely fine for our stay, room has everything you need, even a fridge and a fan( which was a blessing in the heat),shower wasn't powerful,but was adequate for us, location is perfect, two to three minutes walk to the actual seafront, breakfast said it was Continental so it was a bonus when we were offered the hot breakfast ( bacon,beans, poached eggs, scrambled eggs) then all the usual breakfast items,parking is free just around the back of the hotel, although we managed to park up on the actual street the hotel is on, which has no restrictions which was a bonus,very rare to find these days, don't be put off by the front of the hotel,nothing that a paint brush and a tidy up won't fix,big thank you to the receptionist and the lady that served breakfast, would definitely stay again 👍😁, would recommend the "Bella Italia" restaurant ( again don't be put off by building) and The Old Vic pub

Excellent location
Publié le 3 juill. 2024 sur HotelsHost was welcoming and room was ready early. Good soundproofing as next to the kitchen/dining room and breakfast started at 7am but we were not disturbed. Bed was comfy.
Breakfast on second morning was cooked fresh and not left on hot trays uncovered for a period of time which was preferable and it was hotter.
Overall good place to stay and location near the seafront was excellent.
