Clermont - Peppercorn Motel. A Gem in the outback

Very attentive and lovely to engage in conversation. A wealth of knowledge on the area, things to see and do, and history in abundance
The room was immaculate and had direct access to the beautiful pool, Bar, and Dining Lounge.
The food was a surprise and the portions were excellent.
The room was spacious and very comfortable.
We were only there the one night as we were passing through on a major drive from the bottom end to the top end of Australia but we will definitely be going back there.

Classy for country town

Pour : Swimming pool in middle. Grass green around pool. Greenery. Very relaxing atmosphere. Easy to drive in and out separate entry and exit.
Contre : All good.
Emplacement : Not far from town. Can walk. All Clermont sites
Staff lovely and helpful. Quiet location. Not far from town. Restaurant available. Very well built by original owner Noel Massey.

Very homely and friendly

Pour : Everything to the little dog that lives there.
Contre : Happy the way it is.
Emplacement : Heaps to do and see I didn't realise it was such a historic town or even existed.
The food quality and quantity and value here is superb whether it's dinner or breakfast. Also extremely friendly and helpful staff. A must stay!

Everything you need, nice pool

Pour : Free wifi, the room had everything we needed and was clean.
Suited us for our overnight stay. We had no problems as it was clean had everything we needed. Staff member was very helpful.

Pour : The peaceful no fuss environment.
Contre : Air conditioner could be a lot quieter, detracted from the stay.
Emplacement : Idyllic bush location.
The reception was friendly, the room faced an inner courtyard with a pool and garden. Very relaxing.

Accomodation in the Queensland Central Highlands

Pour : Friendly service from the moment we walked in to reception.
Contre : The fan was adequate but an updated "quiet" air conditioner would be a bonus.
Emplacement : Clermont is a small country town surrounded by farming land and some large mine activity. It has a reasonable range of shops for its size.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Very friendly staff. Had a nice meal in the restaurant. The pool was well maintained, clean and very refreshing. The room was a typical motel room but was well set up and the bed was comfortable.
