My recent stay at this charming farm lodging booked through Expedia/VRBO was nothing short of magical. From the warm welcome of the delightful pig (Phebe) and goat that greeted us upon arrival, every moment at this farmy retreat was a treasure. We were three adults, very well accommodated! The ambiance of the place is simply enchanting – a cozy haven nestled amidst nature's embrace. The sight of four friendly dogs, ducks waddling around, and a bunch of cheerful chickens added to the overall charm of the farm. It felt like a retreat into a more wholesome way of life. It was cold, so we couldn’t swim in the lake (or pool), next time! One of the aspects that truly stood out was the attention to detail demonstrated by the hosts. It was evident that every inch of the property was cared for with love. The warmth and friendliness of the hosts made us feel super welcome! The amenities surpassed all expectations, with more conveniences than one could possibly imagine. The washing and drying machines were brand new, and the gigantic TV added a lot of fun to our evenings. Despite initial concerns about the road leading to the property, it turned out to be a non-issue. Even with a sedan and the unexpected huge amount of rain, the journey was smooth! Wonderful 2 day stay with my 9 year old. Charming little farm with a great view! The place was incredibly clean and I loved the attention to details. It was the little touches that impressed me, like the fresh eggs, breakfast foods, condiments and the bathroom being stocked with anything you may have forgotten. I would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area again!
