The only complaint I have about this hotel is that while we were there, there was a group of people in the pool / hot tub area being incredibly obnoxious, loud, screaming, running, doing cannonballs etc. the entire time. We weren’t able to use the pool at all due to this group of people. We mentioned it to the staff a couple of times and nothing was done. In the past, hotels I’ve stayed at took pool safety much more serious and weren’t afraid to tell people to calm down or get out of the pool… this was disappointing because the reason we picked this hotel over others in the area was for the pool and hot tub. Besides that, it was a nice hotel but we will not stay here again. Almost $300 to not even be able to enjoy the amenities is a bit much.

I stay at this particular la Quinta often, it’s always clean & comfortable! I never regret staying at the Macedonia hotel. I highly recommend.

The staff were very nice at this property. However upon checking in we noticed a person coming in with 3 cats. She put them in the room and proceeded to go outside to get their litter boxes. She placed the litter boxes on a luggage cart and brought them in. My daughter has severe allergies to cats. The staff tried to help in every way possible, however she cant have exposure to cats at all and started sneezing and wheezing immediately when we got in the car. There was also an odor of a deodorizer in the halls and rooms to cover up some kind of smell. It was very overwhelming. There also was some kimd of leak in the halls with a fan blowing on the carpet to dry it out. Like I said staff tried their hardest by offering fresh linens and such, however we opted for a refund and chose another hotel. We had a total of 5 rooms for family at this location and we all stayed somewhere else.

Dirty but close to CVNP
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HotelsThe location was perfect for exploring CVNP. We were 10 minutes or less from all major attractions. That is the only good part of the hotel. It was NOT clean. The carpet was dreadful, bedding stained, bathroom scuzzy, and just generally in need of repair. The common areas were also dirty. There were ants by the coffee station, breakfast tables and areas not wiped down, and the pool was somehow so full of chlorine our eyes hurt but still had cloudy water. We would not stay here again
