Weird location. Half the building is used as a sleep clinic, the rest as part of the ES property which includes multiple buildings. Property is old and rundown, could definitely use some updates. Room wasn’t very clean, the worst being dirty floors and corners, crumbs and drip marks on tables and nightstands. Not the dirtiest I’ve seen, but could’ve been better. Stains on the sheets, towels were very worn, stains on couch. No blanket on bed just sheets and a simple bed cover, and no blankets hidden in the closet either. Very limited supply of toilet paper provided, and even though the room had a kitchenette, there weren’t plates or utensils, and no dish soap/towel/wash cloth. Very disappointing from other ES hotels I’ve stayed in. Also, the exterior door to the stairwell didn’t lock at any time during the day and could just be pulled open. Our room was one flight of stairs up from that door, leaving us with apprehension regarding safety.

Paid for 3 nights, after returning the first day I entered the room to discover the room cleaned, all my possessions gone. At first was told I was transferred to another room, that room was dirty and my possessions weren't there. Then was told no rooms are available. After the night clerk had a long discussion with someone on the phone I was given another room. While I was evaluating this next room the night clerk called and told me to come and get my possessions, no apology, no explanation. When I asked for the stuff I had in the refrigerator she did not know anything about it or where is was.

There was a water main break so we went without water for the first night and the next day. No type of discount or anything was offered for the inconvience. Then I was given 1 bed when I paid for 2. No refund on the price difference and I was even basically called a liar when I called the front desk to request the refund for the price difference. Come go find out they had me mixed up with another guest. Apologies were given after they realized it but still no refund

Not what it used to be.

We got there and found out only 3 or 4 rooms had working fireplaces and they were booked. Apparently the rest need fixed and the owner isn't going to. This is why we chose this hotel and specific room. So they did give us another room that had more beds and an extra bathroom. There was only two of us. The fireplace didn't work. Trash under the sink had not been emptied. No extra towels, coffee, paper towels or toilet paper. When does were moved there was trash and dust behind them. Cracks in walls, stains in the carpet and stood on the walls. Stayed here 2 years ago and it was great. It's declined a lot!! Probably won't stay again.

Rooms and grounds are very nice, Condition of rooms is obviously very old, but that wasn’t too unexpected for the price. Beds very comfortable. The down side was that it felt like living in an old ashtray, real bad cigarette smoke smell in the room.

Lied and said the expedia booking was. Ancelled but it wasnt and rhen charged 6 times more than the original booking. Would not allow me to speak with a manager nor share the managers contact information. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
