Loved the house and location. The house had everything we needed. It is so charming. Of course we could do without the spider webs all over the porch nevertheless, we loved the house.

2nd Stay

We enjoyed our second stay as much as the first. The weather and ticks not so much. :)

Around this time of year, we do get lots of rain that causes moisture around the trees & wooded areas that can cause ticks to linger around. We do have exterminators that come out to spray quarterly for ticks and bugs. We hope that your next stay will be better."

The place was so homey! Though a tad bit smaller than the pics portray, it takes nothing away from the visit!! Would love to come back!!

Read the fine print

Cabin itself was nice, stairs very narrow and difficult to use. Kitchen area was delightful. Charcoal Grill was not very clean, gas grill useless. WiFi worked fine, no cable, had to log into sites to get anything to watch. Tried to Contact Host to learn more about TV, no response at all. Host fees are very high from what I can see compared to others. Notes 2 full beds in 2nd bedroom, but unless you read fine print, you will not know they are bunk beds until arrival. In and out of the cabin is very easy, porch overlooking the lake is refreshing. Top of fridge is very small, but freezer good size. Main bedroom bed leaves much to be desired and has a metal piece sticking out in the middle that I never understood and caught several times. Also the TV in this room was worthless, could not get it to load or anything to watch. Again a question for the Host that never responded. If you are going there to relax and get away, it works. Quite a ways from any stores or shopping in necessary...

Occasionally, remotes may be relocated between rooms; in this case, the master bedroom remote was moved to the living room.-We are dedicated to ensuring our guests' comfort and strive to create an inviting atmosphere. However, certain structural elements, such as the layout of the home and its amenities, remain unalterable. For instance, the configuration of the stairs is a fixed aspect of the original construction.-The photos showcased on our listing play a pivotal role in setting accurate expectations for our guests. These images, captured by a professional photographer approved by Evolve, included comprehensive depictions of the property, including the full-size bunk beds. We regret any discrepancy between the property and your expectations based on these visuals.-We sincerely apologize for the lack of response from our previous guest contact. Regrettably, there was an issue with our former guest contact, and appropriate measures have been taken to rectify this matter.-Please note that our property does not provide cable services; however, guests are welcome to utilize various apps by signing into their personal accounts.-Additionally, while we acknowledge that individual preferences for refrigerator size may vary, we believe that the current refrigerator adequately serves the needs of a single family.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Lake view retreat

The pictures on the VRBO website made the house appear to be larger than it actually was. It did not appear that anyone had cleaned the house prior to our arrival. I could not get a hold of the owner of the house as their number has been disconnected. The check in process was easy. The location was, great and so is the view. I am in a wheelchair and was unable to access the upper level of the home nor can I get in the bathroom that in the photos appeared much larger . I suggest that they get a different cleaning service, if there is one.
