Perfect Getaway
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home was absolutely perfect for my birthday weekend with my girlfriends. It had enough space and bathrooms for a large group of people. The home had such a wonderful view of the ocean, was clean, and the host was absolutely exceptional. We would definitely stay again and many are considering bringing their families here next summer. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

I want to stay in the Whidbey house 10,000 days
Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe spent a week on Whidbey in this rental with our daughters and their families including three five-year-old granddaughters. At the end of our stay one of them said, “I want to stay in the Whidbey house for 10,000 days.”
The home is clean and well appointed. We had a brief problem with a fuse that blew but were able to reach the owner and quickly resolved it. Our three granddaughters - without consulting any adult - settled themselves in the room over the garage with the three single beds. It was the perfect space for them. The master bedroom was quite comfortable. The other bedrooms are in the lower level which is basically a basement. They do have the slightly musty smell that seems to be part of every beach property. They worked well for us. When inside we spent most of out time in the open kitchen-dining-sitting space that faced the beach. The beach access was great. Watching the tide come and go was lovely. We saw otters and eagles and bunnies and lots of other wildlife. The paddle board and kayak that go with the house were great. If you have younger children, it would be best to bring your own life jackets.
I have difficulty with stairs so the front entrance was intimidating. However, there is a side door and a much more gentle exit on one side of the house.
I have to agree with my granddaughter, I could stay in the Whidbey house for 10,000 days.

Awesome Location and Home

Lots of beach to explore at low tide, and the kayaks were put to good use as well. The home itself was very clean, organized, and spacious for our group of 8. The host was very responsive with communication too.

Great house on the beach
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat place to build memories. We were a party of 10. Five adults and five kids ages 12 - 3. It was wonderful to let the kids play on the beach as we watched from the deck. Well appointed home with great open kitchen.

Great Family Vacation Home
