Beautifully appointed cottage in quiet surroundings. We enjoyed easy access to the Hawkes Bay cycle/walk trail.
Excellent breakfast supplies were available and citrus fruit to pick. A very comfortable, warm place to stay. Highly recommended.

Publié le 1 oct. 2020 sur HotelsLovely cottage ,pretty setting. Enjoyed sitting out on deck in sunshine. Cottage clean and comfy . Two thinnish pillows each but bed comfy and warm.
Enjoyed fresh eggs for breakfast! Thank you.

Great communication from the start. Beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the sound and fresh smell of the sea only a 4-minute walk away, and feed the chooks if that takes your fancy. Rachel was easy to work with and made us feel welcome even providing breakfast for the next morning - fresh eggs and bread. We will be back next time in the HB. Cheers, guys.

A lovely idyllic setting to spend a few days. Our stay was for 4 nights and while the accommodation was very cosy the bathroom in our shared cottage proved to be an annoyance. After 4 people showering in the mobility shower with an inadequate curtain most of the bathroom floor was wet and having to mop and dry was a nuisance. Also we were not advised and we made the mistake of not reading the manual of the fact that there was no service and no change of towels until after the 3rd day as long as you asked for them the night before. We felt that one shouldn't have to ask and that towels should be automatically changed for a 4 night stay as well as rubbish to be removed. We would definitely stay again but not the shared cottage rather the one bedroom which is more spacious with better bathroom and bigger kitchen.

Many thanks for your review. We do appreciate and take on board feedback from guests to try and ensure that our guests have the best stay possible.
We will take advice on if there is anything we can do to try and improve the water situation in the bathroom as it does require guests to take note of water pressure and location of the shower curtain to reduce any water flowing out and can understand the inconvenience if it does.
The Welcome Book, is there to help guests with any information required to make their stay an enjoyable one, it is there to be a helpful tool, which is why when welcoming every guest we ask that they have a read, and encourage guests to come and see us if they have any questions.
Unfortunately, as your group chose not to read the book it did lead to a misunderstanding over the level of servicing of the cottages. We are of course flexible, and there would have been no problem at all to have given fresh towels at an earlier time, if just asked. The cottages are self-catering and we do not offer daily servicing, which we will ensure is clearer to future guests.
