Surprise free upgrade of breakfast was awesome. Service was above & beyond. Allowing pets was great.

This property is suitable only for a couple. Charges seem expensive for the place considering it’s location and it’s facilities (there is no hob even though there is a kitchen). If you are including kids, there may be additional charges for them. Spa is provided as part of the facilities, however it’s a very cold Spa. You won’t really be able stay longer.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and I am sorry you were not happy with your stay and with our pricing.
I hope you remember that when you booked your room you stated your children were 1 & 1 1/2 year-olds, in which case they would stay free of charge. However, you turned up with an 8 & 10 year old, and we clearly state there is an extra charge of $30 per child, over the age of two. Children are great and very welcome at Hartley, but they do incur extra resources and labour from our business.
I don't advertise The Retreat (your room) has a hob in its kitchenette and all our guests are welcome to use the gas BBQ.
As for the hot tub, we do not have it too hot in summer as most clients have indicated a preference for moderate temperature water on 30+ degree days.

思った以上に広くて、設備も整ったB&Bでした。ご主人も親切でとても気持ちよく過ごせました。お庭が広くてお花もきれいで、もっとゆっくりしたかったです（予定があり宿での時間はあんまりとれなかったため）
あと、トイレは日本製（TOTO)がいいなと思いました。
