Publié le 1 févr. 2020 sur HomeAwayThis house is amazing!!! The setup is beautiful! I recommend this house to anyone who want to spend relaxing time in a peaceful location! The house is located on top on the mountain! 5 minutes away from Playa Hermosa If you take the shortcut! In order to do that you need a good car, 4x4 type otherwise the other road takes around 15 minutes! The house is always very clean, the employee on site clean everyday! She can also make laundry!😉

Publié le 9 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayOne Hermosa was a beautiful casa! Great place with fantastic views and sunsets. Great amenities, everything we needed. Soraya was very helpful to us for finding the casa and responsive for any questions we had. Janet, the caretaker, did an excellent job.
The road to the casa was quite challenging and would have been hard to find if not for the help of Soraya and staff leading us up the hill. Absolutely need a 4 wheel drive to get to Casa and around Santa Theresa. One suggestion would be more umbrellas or shade from the afternoon sun on the deck.

An oasis overlooking the Pacific

The view is breath-taking over the descending slope to the Pacific. Clean, and well set up property - loved the BBQ, kitchen setup, outdoor space, hammock, and pool

Not what we expected!
Publié le 1 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe actual property is beautiful but the location was not as we expected. The driveway and the roads leading up to the house resembled a Lunar surface. We could not have found the house without being guided there by the property manager. The housekeeper was excellent. Not sure I would stay there again.

Great spot for a retreat into nature.

You would need to have a lovely vacation. Would highly recommend it a little far from the beach but you’re in the heart of the jungle.

Peaceful, comfortable house, but very remote
Publié le 9 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe house is a great place for two couples, with everything you need (ex. No TV). Outdoor spaces offer amazing views, and a great pool. Easy communication with house manager, and daily cleaning from a family nearby. The only drawback is the house location. It’s not really possible to walk to the beach - over 3km on dirt, potholed roads. A 4x4 with high clearance is an absolute must - if you’ve never been to CR before - the roads are insane. It’s a 30min slow bone rattling drive to town. All good if you’re up for staying at the house, and enjoying the peace up on the mountainside. Not so great if you want to go in and out of town for restaurants or adventures. The neighboring house - other rental - is directly next door, and can be noisy depending on who is staying. Again - the house is great - the location is something you have to be prepared for.

Although it was difficult to find, once we were there the home fit our needs perfectly. There were three of us so plenty of sleeping space, the kitchen and laundry made the stay pleasant and convenient. the home is in a gated community so we felt safe. The local area is very vibrant with activity and the beach is a short walk away. It is a part area, so if that is not your jam, you may not love it. The area is also a good jumping off point for day trips and the roads this time of year were pretty good unlike other areas.
