Having in mind that Santa Teresa and Mal País are surfers destinations most of the accommodations are hostels or very simple cabins, this hotel follows that style. Very simple rooms and equipment, the 4 bed "apartment" room was spacious and the kitchenette in the open balcony was nice. Close to the road coming from Cobano it's on walking distance of the banks and atms, supermarkets and several restaurants, and various beach access trails.
Lots of international turists and the beaches are beatiful. 4x4 cars recommended.
Small simple pool to cool off after a day in the beach but nothing special. Surf board and quad bikes for rental at the property.
Now the bad things, they have problems with the running water, several times during the stay we didn't have water at the room. The refrigerator at the room was disconnected at arrival so it was off and had a bad odor. The tv remote didn't work, and they don't stock enough toilet paper or do not restock after the previous guest so we run out on the first night. Don't know if this is the case , but there wasn't room cleaning between days in a 2 night stay so that was strange.
In the end it was just OK, but definitely room for improvements.
