Publié le 1 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwaygorgeous woodland made for a very calming stay. Water pressure was real low, but we knew that going in. Bed was comfy and basics were all in place. Convenient to all of the places we wanted to go.

Cabin on the Creek

Great little cabin

Amazing cabin in middle of wine country
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin is located so close to all the wineries in the wine trail. We had easy access to Alto Pass, Star view, Owl Creek, and so many more! The hot tub was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. And the owner was very great about communicating and following up. Would 500% recommend this place to anyone looking to take in the Shawnee state parks or South Illinois wine trail.

Enjoyed and made use of the little hot tub on the deck, and the firepit as well.
Would definitely stay there again.
Wifi and reception in area was lacking,.

Get away from it all.
Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a really cool property that is very comfortable/cozy and and away from the hustle and bustle. It really does feel like you are in a tree house and connected with nature. The deck and screened in porch are great. It was really nice for that morning cup of coffee. I refinements would take the property over the top. The water pressure/flow is very poor. It was even hard to wash a dish. The fridge was not cold. I had to use the freezer as the fridge If you don’t min being disconnected ,this is great as cell service-WiFi is as advertised…very slow. Connection for stream is not possible.

Wine Trail Get Away
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayGood get away to visit the wine trail. Close to many wineries but far enough away to feel away from others. The cabin was basic, but nice. It was what we were looking for because we didn’t want to stay long. Water pressure was good (many reviews complained about water pressure, but it was fixed before our visit). There were actually two bathrooms with two standup showers.
