Great home away from home
Publié le 20 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed there for nine days with our family. The house was a perfect size for us and had everything we needed. The new bikes were enjoyed by our kids- but they did need some maintenance. Jane responded quickly to our request for help with the bikes and other minor issues. Loved all the dogs and donkeys in the area and their nightly serenades. The island is gorgeous- the beaches were wonderful and uncrowded and the snorkeling was great. Be sure to bring bug spray.

This was our first visit to Grand Turk and this place did not disappoint. Jane and Scott were phenomenal hosts and the house was absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to come back and have highly recommended this house to family and friends, interested in visiting the island.

Family Christmas Gift

This would help with all the noise from the loose dogs and donkeys at night. If you’re lyfor the Ritz. This is not it. But for the price it’s very reasonable with all the basics.

Thank you for your kind review and constructive criticism, which we take very seriously. I agree with you as we are working on installing a new fence and adding additional plantings shortly, as much is still damaged from the September hurricane. For better or worse, the island is well known for it's loose horses, donkeys and potcakes (dogs) which can be found anywhere, as they roam the island and occasionally spend a night or two in our neighborhood, with our guests, other guests, and neighbors, which can randomly result in dogs barking, which I am sorry was so bothersome, with the Caribbean Island style slat windows, designed for maximum air flow. We are glad you enjoyed the beautiful beach and welcome you back to our aptly named "Rustic Chalet".

Great Place to Stay
Publié le 24 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe needed an additional place to stay as the group of four families increased a bit in size to fit into the other place we rented nearby.
This place was the perfect for our needs. It; snot glorous , but it was clean, comfortable, everything including the A/C worked, close to the beacha dn wihiin walking distance of stores, a great dive shope, restauarnts, and the beach.
The owners, Jane and Scott, and the property manager, Chris, were very responsibe to questions nad fluid with information to help our stay. Chris helped us rent a golf cart to get around the island with.
We'd be happy to rent this VRBO again on uor next trip. .

More than we hoped for

The house is a very short walk to the beach, and a quick golf cart drive to several awesome snorkel spots, groceries, and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Family Vacation- 1st time to Grand Turk

Grand Turk Chalet
Publié le 1 janv. 2020 sur HomeAway1980's home with lots of charm. The owers or the property managers respond to all questions promptly. They have equiped the house with many day to day items for guest use,and things you've forgotten or didn't know you would need. They also have all the items you need to enjoy the beach just a couple minutes walk from the house.
This is a great place if you want to just get away from the hussle and bussle, traffic!, of day to day life and relax. There are things to do around the island, excursions available like horseback riding, snorkling and diving. This is Total island life, nothing is commericalized, most places are individually owned.
The owners are very easy to work with and can answer any questions regarding the property and surrounding area.
