Excellent hotel, lovely staff and good food. Just let down by the condition of the pool, needs a very good clean and lick of paint

Publié le 29 juin 2024 sur HotelsOnly stayed overnight as part of a Lake District break, but really enjoyed this hotel. Had a fantastic evening meal (sharing steak came with mash, roast spuds, yorkshire pudding, mixed veg and pigs in blankets!) and breakfast next morning was excellent too.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Cumbia and the Lake District.

On arrival went to our room after nice greeting from staff at desk.checked around room,utensils/pots unclean,obviously not checked properly ? Apartment bit tired looking,could be doing with some touch up in painting etc,balcony area similar,table/chairs needed clean up,cushions/throw would be nice touch ? Pool area was also needing general touch up to better standards as we experienced on stay few years earlier.Would hope owner would take my suggestions positively and I'm sure would benefit him moving forward.
