The location was fantastic!! Direct access to the beach!! Overall, it’s a nice place. The only thing that needs to be improved is the guest bedroom bed and mattress (very squeaky and uncomfortable). Lastly, the sliding glass door is very hard to close and open. Would definitely stay here again.

Terrible, outdated, unsafe condo.
We just returned a week ago yesterday from this Spanish Main condo rental. It is a great beachside location, and that is where the positives end. Unfortunately, the sliding glass door and the windows in the unit are in need of replacement. The patio door barely opens and closes. The windows in the master bedroom are so old, rusted and warped that they no longer lock and they also leak. It rained the first two nights we were there and water poured in through the top. We had to place multiple towels on the floor to soak up the water. Per our email confirmation guidance, we are asked to reach out to the property manager, Cathy V. on the provided cell phone number. She got back to us and said “Oh yes, we know about the windows and the sliding glass door. They are due to be replaced.” Why then, are you still renting this place?! The windows leak, the patio door barely opens and closes, and most importantly, it is not safe; as this ground level condominium allows anybody from the walkway out front to just slide open the obviously unlocked/broken windows and rob you. She did not have a good answer. We requested a different unit or a refund. She said she would reach out to the owner Daniel and get back to us. Despite several more phone calls to her, we never heard back from her or the owner. The second day we were there, we realized that the toilet paper in the bathrooms were both half empty upon check-in. There were no spares available. The same went for the paper towels. While they do tell you in the check in email that those items are not provided after the initial starter pack, we didn’t even get a full amount to begin with. The unit is severely outdated, and in need of a massive refresh. The couch is old, dirty, and sags. The ventilation fan in the master bathroom doesn’t work and the cover is missing, exposing all the rusted out metal underneath. It looks horrible. I have pictures of all of these items. The final kicker was on Wednesday of our stay when a very rude property manager for the Condominiums walked up to us sitting out on the back patio and told us we would have to vacate the patio for 24 hours either Thursday or Friday for painting. We also reached out to VRBO via their “Book with Confidence Guarantee”. VRBO said the property is run by the management company and there is nothing they could do about it. We were totally screwed. What a lousy landlord, condominium unit, and fail on the part of VRBO customer service. Don’t stay here!

Found this gem when we scheduled a last minute spring break trip with the kids. While it is in need of some updating/remodeling, you can't get a better location at the price. Beach access right outside your backdoor, poolside access right out the front. The pool was wonderful and the facility itself is well maintained. Plus, it comes with a garage parking spot!! Wow!! Restaurants and shopping located all around you and again, the view from the condo is fabulous. We were even able to watch a rocket launch!

Beautiful views and very convenient
Beautiful views of the ocean and convenient to the pool. You could not ask for a better location. Easy check in. The condo management was very friendly and called when the washing machine needed repair and a repairman came by to fix it. She also called when the blinds were replaced with curtains and an inspection was done. Very considerate. My only negative observation was that the condo could use some updating to sheets, mattresses, furniture and such. Much used. We had a great time though.

Amenities
There are very few amenities with this property. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Plan to bring everything you need, all paper products, cleaning supplies, trash bags, soap to name a few. Lots of broken doors, blinds. The furniture was pretty sad and had several broken legs. The beds were completely broken down and sheets were old, piled and smelly. The sofas smelled horrible and sank to the floor when you sat on them. Kitchen utensils were useless. The smoke alarm went off at 3:00 am and again at 3:15 without cause. The bathroom sinks were scummy. It’s sad to have such a poorly kept unit with such a great location.

Perfect location, functional house
The location was amazing, but luxury is not how I'd describe the house. You have to buy all usable goods like soap, paper towels, toilet paper. That's okay, but there weren't enough fabric towels in the house for our whole family. A family of four, two bathrooms, but only two towels???? There were lamps that didn't work, no coffee table, as it looks like it was broken in a previous stay, and definitely not enough fans. The house has one fan in the kitchen, one in the dining area, and a box floor fan. When visiting in summer, you definitely need more fans. Especially in the bedrooms. It's a well lived in house, not the most comfortable beds. Could use some TLC. Overall, worked okay for our trip but could have been better. The location by the beach is the selling point... That was glorious for both the kids and us.

The location is excellent. The Check-in process was easy. This condo needs a lot of improvements. The door handle was missing. The walls are damaged and need repair. There is mold all around the windows. I think this whole condo needs some overhaul. We would not come back to the same place.

My review would of have been based on pictures, but you can't submit them.
The property, namely the unit, is in poor shape. Water leakage, to furniture in disrepair just to name a few discrepancies. The property management team needs to be fired if the owner is not aware of the condition. A good pest control company should be hired, but mainly fixing walls, holes and external entrances for bugs might be a better fix.

The location is great! Best until in the hotel as it's ground floor, right by the pool and also right by the pool. However, the unit desperately needs some renovation: -the master bed is literally broken in the bottom half and sags quite bad -the blinds in the master bedroom are completely nonfunctional and you have to attempt to space them just right to get any privacy - the rear sliding door is extremely difficult to operate and needs oil or something - the kids bathroom vanity has a huge hole in the toe kick, about half of it is missing - the master shower looks like it has mildew that was just painted over and starting to seep through Is a nice little condo and we enjoyed our stay but honestly needs a little tlc to be great

We stay at this building a lot This unit unfortunately is not the best kept unit. Best location on whole property but unit needs real help. I understand the their are trashy tenants out there that don’t respect the places they stay at. And it’s hard for these owners to keep up with all the damage that is left behind in their units. But somehow these trashy tenants should not ever to be allowed to rent on any of the sites.

Place was in a good location. Place just needs a little TLC. Blinds were broke in the living room and bedroom. Supposed to close the blinds at night for the sea turtles but couldn't. There were a bunch of ants on the counter and stove top. They only supply one towel per bathroom. When they say the place can house 4 people you would assume there would be at least 4 bath towels. Worst part is I reached out for an explanation/resolution and never got a response. I've stayed in much nicer places in similar locations for the same price. I also have photos to prove my statements. Took them upon arrival to prove we were not at fault.

Right On the Beach
The property faced the beach, perfect view from the patio and the master bedroom. Only drawback was the week we were staying there, the condo association had a contractor rebuilding the access walkway to the beach, so we had to deal with construction noise while sitting the deck and had to walk a longer distance to get to the beach via a separate access road. Pretty sure this was a 3 week project, but we got the worst as the skid steer loader was active the first 3 days. Short walk to the pool, which was very warm, clean and nice to swim in. Lots of shade in the pool area this time of year with the sun angle so low. Chilly if not sitting in the sun as the temps in early Jan generally in the upper 60's., Rooms were clean, kitchen was clean and plenty of plates, glasses and cooking utensils for several day's use before needing to run the dishwasher. Could use a few newer appliances such as the blender and a few of the cooking pans. Main bathroom has nice tile floor shower and decent shower head. Smaller bathroom with tub could use a new shower head.
