Owner and Agent went above and beyond
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayI had some complications with the booking process due to a mistake on my end, spelled my email wrong, and the property owner as well as the booking agent were very helpful helping me iron out the situation. The unit was cozy and had everything I needed for a last minute stay at the beach. I will definitely be back!

Relaxing and comfortable

Great weekend stay

She told us about a rocket launch going on that we would have missed, and replied almost instantly any time I had a question. It was a short walk to the beach, and they provided very nice quality boogie boards which we used every single day. I have seriously no complaints with this place!

Publié le 31 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThere was very little or no communication with our host, I had to call Vrbo to get the address. It was hard to gain entrance to our place. A learning process...The bed was horrible! The mattress needed to thrown out!. My wife forgot her med in the refridge and the host brought them to the cruise port after we were already on the ship, We were so relieved and appreciated the drop! Thanks so MUCH! Beside the bed and the coffee machine not working it was just OK!

Tom, I am disappointed with this review as we went above and beyond to ensure that you had a pleasant stay.
This review is factually incorrect. There is a difference between a lack of communication, and not understanding how to read and respond to the messages sent from the property manager through VRBO. These communications include a booking messages, welcome message, directions, information on where all of the kayaks/bikes/beach equipment etc are, access codes, and even a message after the guest checked-in with information about a SpaceX rocket launch that evening. None of my messages were responded to.
There is also a difference between a broken coffee maker and not understanding how to use the coffee maker. The coffee maker works as it should and has worked before, during, and after this guests stay. I personally went there today and tested the coffee maker just to make sure it works as expected.
We have never had to send the address to the guests, as the address to the property is provided from VRBO on the reservation. But, if they would have contacted us for any reason, to include the address, assumed broken coffee maker, or any other issue they may have had, I would have been quick to respond as my communication with our guests is quick, accommodating, and personable.
It is unfortunate that you found the bed uncomfortable. Sometimes even the perfect bed may not be perfect for all guests, and for that, we wish the bed better fit your liking.
This review is surprising as not only were the guests on the property for less than 24 hours, but shortly after they checked out I discovered that they left medication in the refrigerator. I called the guest immediately to ascertain if it was needed and how we could help them get the medications back. My husband drove 20 minutes to the port, had to find parking on a busy cruise departure day, go through security at the port, navigate to customer service and fill out paperwork letting the cruise-line know who was dropping off the medicine and who the medicine needed to be delivered to.
The last communication we received from this guest before this less than stellar review was “Thank you, you made my trip happy ♥️🌹.”
