Beautiful hotel and grounds
Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HotelsWe were very lucky and got an upgrade to a room with a balcony. The bedroom was very spacious and well supplied with tea, coffee etc. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom very good too. We ate in the restaurant. Food was lovely. All of the people we met, in the reception and restaurant were friendly, helpful and effecient.

Wonderful grounds
Slightly warm in room
Was expecting a bath and a newer room as advertised but the older style building and rooms were comfortable

The service and staff were fantastic as was the hotel itself, my only criticism was it was difficult to sleep as we could hear loudly the function going on downstairs but fortunately this finished by midnight and then it was wonderfully quiet

This is a great place to stay with an outstanding staff team who do their best to ensure guests enjoy the best stay possible.
Not cheap but well worth the money.

Welcoming and elegant. The staff made us feel included and at home. Would highly recommend a stay at Wivenhoe House Hotel
