I wanted to enjoy it

But, we took pictures of the animal hair all over the bedding and submitted them to the host. We spent the majority of our stay trying to wash it while the washer and dryer was not operating properly. There were also urine stains in the rug. I would like to be compensated for our stay or receive a partial reimbursement. However, I don’t want to go through the hassle so we have just decided not to rent with VRBO ever again. We traveled too far, and paid too much money for the condition of the house.

Great memorial day weekend

We love staying in cape royal. This property is very comfortable especially the beds, it was very clean and everything was very convenient. The record player with hundreds of vintage records was a really nice touch. My teenage daughters had never seen one and we’re intrigued not only by the record player but the musical selection. Thank you for doing that. we always bring our boat and rent a slip in the marina which works out really well. Thank you for sharing your property with us. We will be back again.

Great little getaway

Could have been great

We were looking forward to a nice relaxing getaway for a long weekend but ended up being miserable. Main reason for low rating was that heater was not working properly. It was freezing downstairs and hot upstairs. No way to even out since thermostat was downstairs and no heat coming out. The pictures did not quite represent the property location. It appeared by the pictures to be more isolated from neighbors than it was. The house itself was set up nice and very clean inside. The neighborhood was quiet and was nice to walk around. The owners were quick to respond to any communications. We have stayed at many different Rental locations so have an idea of what to look for. I would still refer this property to someone to stay as long as the a/c/heat was working properly

Hi Michael, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: "We truly apologize for the heating issues that you faced during your stay. We have owned this property only for a couple of months, and this is our first winter as owners, so we were not aware of this issue. However, this is no excuse, and once we were made aware of the situation, we contacted the HVAC company. We spent over $10,000 replacing the entire duct system and the AC/heating unit to make sure everything is working in order. Again, we truly apologize for your experience, and we guarantee that this won’t happen in the future." We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
