Being that the building is extremely old. The surrounding area is okay. The building is somewhat up kept. The staff, well if there was many here. Checking in was a little bit odd. Waiting 5-7mins for someone to come to the counter and for the person to look displease about working.

Hotels.com should remove this hotel from the options. Mold in the shower. Disgusting, stained furniture. Impossible to contact front desk staff even in the event of an emergency. No way to contact management for help. There was a violent event across the hall in the middle of the night and calling the desk for help was useless. I had to call the police myself

Ive stayed at this property several times over the years and this by far was best in months..soon as i walked in the room . The heat was and it felt comfortable. The room was really clean as well as the carpet. It had a small frig which was is cold. Which was greatly appreciated. Im homeless so im not picky but wherever i can save up the money. I stay here.

The towels were dirty, the carpet is filthy, the shower is dangerously hot, partying is terrible, loud music from event on the main level until after midnight.

Faulty room doors - safety issue
The staff very lovely. It was a major problem that the door to my room had a latch that kept locking every time I left the room. The first time, the maintenance person was able to open it quickly and said this happens occasionally. The next evening, I came back to the room at 10p to find I was locked out again. This time, the maintenance person was off duty. It took the front desk person (the only person on staff for the whole hotel) over an hour to find a maintenance person to open the door to my room.

The hotel looked and felt like a shelter hotel. The front automatic doors was not working. A large police presence was there when i arrived. The clerk was obviously on something i waited in the lobby for several minutes while she was in the back having a intense conversation on the phone. The rooms look like they havent been updated or deeped cleaned in years.
