If you're looking for an oasis inside the city, the Highbury is the place. I stayed on a long term business trip, and it was exactly what I was looking for after long work days. The accomodations are clean, WiFi strong, and the owners are kind and welcoming. The stay is a short Tuktuk ride away from major attractions and has some great restaurants nearby.

The hospitality of the owners is impressive. Located in a quiet and peaceful area, this hotel awakens our artistic sensibilities with its well-maintained garden and the fusion of indoor and courtyard spaces. Listening to the sounds of wild birds as the morning sun pours in is soothing. I highly recommend staying for an extended period of time.

For the price paid, it was a v poor room.

Dejligt åndehul i storbyen
Publié le 23 févr. 2019 sur HotelsDejligt afslappet med smagfuld indretning. Hjælpsom værtspar. Skøn lille velholdt have med fuglesang. Lidt til den dyre side. Morgenmad ok men lidt dyrt (10 $ pr. person)
Et godt sted vi kan anbefale som et åndehul i en ellers travl by

Only the breakfast was quite expensive (10USD/pp). Breakfast was good but nothing special.
The location is ok, it is 250-300rs with tuktuk from the centre of Colombo.
Overal a nice clean room. But the breakfast is quite expensive!

Publié le 3 sept. 2017 sur WotifGreat hotel, location good. Easy to get tuk tuk to all the sights cheaply. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Sherlock was lovely and really helpful. Took very good care of us. Can't recommend highly enough.
