Great weekend and above average hot tub views!!!
Publié le 11 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat experience the whole way around. The hot tub and the views were the highlight but we enjoyed everything. Storm came in and dumped a foot of snow and they had a crew cleaning out the driveway the next day which was very much appreciated! 100% recommend!

Another great stay
Publié le 3 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our second Halloween-time stay - and it was great, again! The place is small, but perfect for us and our old dogs. Very peaceful and relaxing. We even found an interesting ghost tour to do in Cripple Creek this year.

Quiet and Peaceful

Close enough to hit the hot spots (11-mile canyon, Cripple Creek, Pikes Peak, etc) but definitely off the beaten path and blessedly quiet. The cabin sits on a very sharp slope so no opportunity for walking but it made for great porch sitting!

We enjoyed our stay although it was mainly a place to sleep as we did sight seeing throughout Colorado the entire 5 days we were there. We never spoke to the owner except to let him know the propane tank for the gas grill was empty. The shower had little to no water pressure and the floor creeked in the master bedroom, so tread lightly when making late night bathroom trips. Beds were comfortable and appliances seemed in good working order. Oh yeah, the 1 mile road up to the cabin is bumpy as Hell so make sure you got good shocks on your truck. All in all it was a nice place and Colorado is beautiful this time of year. .
