We had a couple of small dogs and they had a ball. Nice and quite location. The host was wonderful. Answered promptly and put up with my questions with such grace. I would suggest this house for anyone or any group.

Mountain getaway R & R
Publié le 19 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful cabin nestled nicely in the mountains and not too far away from civilization. The cabin was very spacious and clean. Everything you need was available. It was a wonderful visit and we will definitely be back. The hosts were available when needed and I greatly appreciate their quick response when I could not get the front door code to work. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.

Awesome Colorado Cabin
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayYour cabin was perfect! It was our homebase for exploring south central Colorado and we loved it. The turkeys showed up to bid us farewell the day we packed up and left. Thanks for making the rental available. I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Smell The Pines
Publié le 10 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat cabin, large kitchen, fireplace, patio for star gazing, and the fresh smell of the mountain pines. Plus deer, deer, and more deer.
We really enjoyed our stay. Hiked the Barksdale trail. Ate lunch and dinner at McGinty's Pub. Shopped in Woodland Park. We do like the pretzels better at McGinty's than BierWerks - but that's just our opinion.
Overall, a wonderful and relaxing place. Hoping to come back next year!!

Amazing vacation home!
Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Turkey Roost was AMAZING! The house was one of the cleanest places I’ve been, and the garage game room was just what we needed. Communication was snappy quick any time there was a question, and they were always very polite. The location is perfect too. Close enough to go to the tourist sites in the area plus nearly silent at night. We’re hoping to go back again since the family really enjoyed our time there. If you do happen at stay, they’ve got a great selection of board games, and the Denver Monopoly game is addictive. The WiFi was a life saver since there’s no mobile coverage for VZW (which you really won’t notice while sipping coffee of the deck looking at the mountains in the distance). Highly recommend this location!

Guys golf trip
Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty is as advertised. Perfect place for 4 guys on a golf trip. Clean, spacious, well maintained. The pool table was such a added bonus! If you're a golfer, Shining Mountain is 35 minutes away.
