Beautiful property and very relaxing!

Beautiful cabin
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful cabin in the mountains. Very clean, well stocked & great location. Plenty of room for our family of 3. Stargazing was incredible out the front door. It was a great home base for exploring Pikes Peak & Colorado Springs.

Publié le 27 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home was beautiful and spacious. We did have a slight issue with the stove but Kyle was very responsive and came out 2x to check it for us. The dollar game was fun, making origamis. The drieway had spectacular scenery.

Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall the house was great! Especially the hot tub 🙂 The entire family was in it every night spending quality time with each other. However the only thing we didn’t like is the traffic noise from the near by highway, which was busy over Labor Day weekend.

The house is well kept and had just about anything you might need available. We were looking for some downtime and this was a fantastic place to stay for relaxing.

Beautiful mountain cabin

The cabin is very clean and has all the conveniences of home...wifi, cell service, satellite TV, ect. We cooked most of our meals there and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The location is very conveniently located to Woodland Park and Colorado Springs as well as all of the other outdoor activities in the area. Check in and check out were also very easy. I would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area in the future.

Pleasant Mountain Getaway with Family Fun
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOur recent stay at this mountain cabin was a delightful escape, offering both relaxation and adventure. Our boys had a blast exploring the expansive property, which was teeming with wildlife. We were lucky enough to spot deer, beavers, and chipmunks, making the experience truly memorable. The cabin's location is also fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions, allowing us to enjoy a mix of outdoor activities and local sights.
However, there were a few drawbacks. The cabin is closer to the highway with more traffic than we expected, so there was more road noise than anticipated. Despite this, the property still maintained a sense of privacy. The living room windows face west, which caused the cabin to heat up during the day. We found that opening the windows at night and welcoming the afternoon rain helped cool things down. One minor issue was the upstairs mattress, which seemed to be nearing the end of its comfort life.
Overall, our stay was wonderful, with more pros than cons. We'd recommend this cabin for anyone looking to enjoy a mountain retreat with plenty of wildlife and easy access to local attractions.
