Perfect for our Glacier vacation
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved staying in this house. It is an older house with some upgrades. We just felt very comfortable there. It was plenty spacious for the two of us. The kitchen was perfect for our needs, with a dishwasher and all the necessities, and enough counter space and table space for cooking and eating. We ate almost all of our meals in, or packed lunches for our hikes. And the grocery store, Smith’s, was a 4-minute walk away. They had a great selection and we found everything we needed there. Believe me, we visited it a lot. We flew in, so we had to get everything. But, the kitchen was nicely stocked with some of the staples, like coffee, and salt and sugar, and cooking oil, etc., so we were okay the first night.
The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. A ceiling fan might have been nice, but that’s just what we’re used to. And the couch and TV were great for relaxing. Overall we had a wonderful time. Oh, and Glacier National Park is amazing.

Great Little House
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for two nights with our daughter and her husband. We were in the area for a wedding. We were able to explore Whitefish and the area. The home is walking distance to the small downtown, but good restaurants, fun shops. We had dinner at the Mexican place, very good. We had breakfast at Montana Coffee Traders and it was very great.
. The house and grounds are well kept and clean, and well stocked.
Our one complaint is the beds lack a top sheet, which we do not like. Sometimes a top sheet is just the right amount on a hot summer night, as the comforters were too warm.
We would recommend this highly..

Convenient Location

Wonderful location and great home

Awesome place close to Glacier!
Publié le 20 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved our stay here! The house had everything we could possibly need and it was super close to the bars/restaurants in Columbia Falls. We especially loved the miscellaneous toiletries and laundry supplies that were available to use, if needed. The drive to Glacier was super easy to make and didn’t take very long. Great place to rest after long days adventuring in the park. We would definitely stay here again if we ever venture back out to the area!
