When my husband and I arrived we were told that they were going to add a $25 fee to our card even we paid online. It was a fee for if we smoked in the non smoking room or recked the bed. First off I paid for a non- smoking room because we are non-smokers and can’t stand the smell and I already have a breathing issue. So here were the issues besides that fee. We get into the elevator and immediately it reeked with weed smell to the point were you want to throw up, then the whole floor reeked in that smell. Next we walked into a room with the room key they gave us and the room they gave us to find that it was already occupied by someone else. Then the front desk said that there shouldn’t have been anyone in that room. The person in that room came down as we were down there to have his key renewed. The front desk seriously irritated me with the “oops we didn’t know” crap. Then finally once again back into the reeking weed smell elevator to a different floor also reeked of the same smell and into our new room. The bed was a metal type bed which made a loud sound every time you moved and got in and out of it. The smell from the hall was so bad that we had to put a bath towel down on the floor up against the door to try and block the smell. Then above all else people were loud in the hall and some freaking idiot decided to play there music as loud as possible for who knows how long while we were trying to sleep due to the fact it was nighttime and we had to be up at 3:00am.
Absolutely loved our stay here. Was well maintained and was easy to get around in with being on crutches. They also offer a military discount which was nice. I would highly recommend this property for a date night especially considering how well maintained the jacuzzi tub was in our room.
Initial check in was smooth as anywhere else is until getting to the actual room. Room key didn't work. No problem, went back to front desk and had another made. However, second key didn't work. Tried a 3rd. Still no good. Finally the person working the desk came with me and verified that the card reader mechanism on the door had a low battery and was faulty. After a brief wait, I was provided with a "master key" that did work. Room was basic but clean enough. Reserved a double queen and was given a room with a single bed for some reason. I asked about this but no offer of exchanging for the correct room was made. Wasnt a big deal though, so just took the room without debate. Hotel was definitely far from fully booked though. Only stayed here for proximity to CMH as I am from out of town and had a 630am flight. Given the option again, I'd probably pick a different airport adjacent hotel option however. Fairly cheap, but definitely a get what you pay for experience. Pool looked clean but I arrived after it was already closed for the night
First off had to pay additional $25 when arriving. The pool water didn’t work. Not enough blankets. Stayed up because found out after arrived property known for vehicle break ins. A lady was loud yelling about a boyfriend across the hall from me.
Hotel personnel came to knock the door at 7am for no reason. There was a fight in the parking lot, people from parking lot yelling at another person in the second floor for 30 minutes.
