Adequate, but far from perfect.

Kitchen had the bare minimum, had to supplement with measuring cups / large bowl from the dollar store. Kitchen seating is metal chairs and stools, very uncomfortable. We made the mistake of lifting up a couch cushion when looking for a lost phone. DON'T make our mistake!! Cosmetic issues throughout - paint, molding, flooring, chipped paint in every room. Deck lounge chair is thrashed by prior renter. Nice neighborhood. Quiet and good location for our needs. Host communication was lacking. Right after check in i asked for late checkoit.
Got no confirmation for 2 days, despite multiple times reaching out. I fonally texted that I was aisuming late checkout was ok. Cleaning crew showed up well before we were ready. Host asked me to wheel garbage bin to curb, because he wouldn'tbe able to make it over. No big deal. . . Plenty of towels and linens. of linens and towels fornour group

John, thanks again for staying with us. Luckily we were expecting a lengthy review after you allowed yourself to stay hours after checkout without permission. Checkout time is at 11 AM, the cleaner showed up at 1 PM and you guys hadn't even started packing. Then you tried to get mad at us for it because you felt like you "had to rush" to get out.
While we understand guests leave poor reviews as retaliation in situations like this, we have noted the things that were mentioned and will get them taken care of for future guests.

Nice, laid back atmosphere

Because of the multiple level it was cold downstairs, comfortable on the main floor and hot in the upstairs bedrooms. Ceiling fans would be a wonderful addition in the upstairs bedrooms. Also, we were a bit put off by the multiple signs around the home that said, This is our neighborhood, NOT YOUR VACATION HOME! Made us feel very unwelcome. We were not there to party, just wanted a comfortable place to stay for a trip to the Zoo and to see soccer game. Overall this was a pleasant place to stay, as long as you are not wanting to use the house as a party house, as I am sure the cops would be there in an instant.

Publié le 27 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayQuiet residential neighborhood with passive-aggressive signs on all sides of the property about the neighbors wishing this wasn’t a VRBO rental, but we didn’t see any actual neighbors, and ignored the signs. Large property and worked very well for what we needed. Easy check in and responsive host. Not the most updated place you will stay, but clean and comfortable.

The house was in a convenient location for all the running around we had to do. It was very clean and spacious, with a nice sized yard for our dog. My other brother and his wife came over during down time and there was plenty of room to hang out. The instructions Jordan provided were thorough and clear, and he was very responsive to the questions I had before we checked in. The bottle of wine he left us was a nice touch! Despite the signs from the neighbors, they left us alone. We had to load and unload alcohol for the wedding reception and no one said a word to us. It got a little warm in the main bedroom upstairs since we're used to ceiling fans, but nothing uncomfortable. It made a stressful weekend more enjoyable. At the end of each day, it was nice to return to the house to relax and unwind. We would definitely stay here again.

Convenient to everything
Publié le 27 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay in Columbus. Jordan was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. It was convenient to all the activities we had planned in the area. The house met all our needs and was clean. The only thing I would suggest is dishtowels for the kitchen.
We would come back.

Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayGood beds, sheets, leather sofa. Downstairs TV .. however NOT COMPLETELY UPDATED. Downstairs bathroom door wouldnt close at all, closet doors falling off ( some closets had no doors) no glassware, dish towels in kitchen only 4 coffee mugs. Home needs some work. However it met our needs. Some backyard furniture would be nice. Owner was quick to respond to questions.

Publié le 14 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe only thing that I didn’t like was the neighbors signs I guess they must’ve had some bad experiences but I think the signs send a bad message to the tenants and I think they should be made to take them down.Everybody is not bad !!!
