Wonderful home-away-from-home long weekend stay
Publié le 11 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband, daughter, son-in-law, and I had a great weekend stay to celebrate my son’s graduation from Basic Training. The house was nicely appointed, clean, welcoming - and very convenient to downtown Columbus, as well as Fort Benning. Great communication and hospitality from owner!

Family weekend
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was an awesome house with lots of amenities. The host was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this place. The only down fall was the area. Driving to the house appeared very nice but if you travel any further past the house it appeared to be a little run down and getting into a poor area.

Thank you Teressa! This house is located in a historic neighborhood so it is a much older and outdated scene. Just down the street going East you’ll find yourself in a more developed part of town with a beautiful park. However the west side of Columbus is much older and unfortunately more run down. Many of us short term rental owners are doing what we can to renovate and bring the west side of Columbus back to its glory! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and the property. Thank you for being such wonderful guests!

Clean, very spacious, updated, beautiful home
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was great except WiFi was out more then in and never had to take the sheets off the bed and pickup our used towels but other then that communication & location was excellent. The beds were comfortable and house was beautiful and very spacious for 4 adults and 2 kids.

Thank you for your feedback. I wasn’t aware that the WiFi was in and out during your stay, but after checking with our service provider, I learned it was due to the hurricane we just experienced.
Regarding the housekeeping procedures, we appreciate guests placing dirty linens in the laundry area, as it helps us maintain the property efficiently.
I apologize for any inconvenience.

Army basic training Graduation
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our 2nd stay in this house. It was as great as our first time experience. It provided a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for our son to settle back into home life after being in basic training at Fort Moore for 22 weeks!
House is very well equipped in all aspects. If we ever find ourselves back in Columbus this is where we will stay!!

Graduation Weekend

It was wonderful for our family to get together to celebrate our son’s graduation. Highly recommend for a special stay.

Thoughtful Touches & Close to Everything!

From the fire pit in the backyard, to the front porch swings, to the clawfoot bathtub- the house was perfect. We were able to get to all of our restaurant reservations in 5 to 10 minutes. The primary bed was very comfortable, and the house was stocked with thoughtful touches that are not always included in short term rentals. Would definitely stay again!

Updated dream
Publié le 20 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMinimalistic updated home. Comfortable beds, very clean. Everything you need for a stay. Neighborhood is in process of revitalization, not all homes as perfect as this one. Check in and communication was fantastic.
