We had pre-booked this motel for a stop on a cross country move with 6 dogs& 2 cats. When we arrived, the motel was completely closed due to an upstairs fire. Obviously unavoidable, but they had online reservations through the main reservation line and no email or call was made to let us know. When we called the customer service line they literally said well what did you want us to do about it. Completely unapologetic & didn't offer to help find a different location.

The property was close to Athens, but there was no daily maid service, the room was smokey and the bed spread was stained. The floors were nice and shower surround was nice, but everything else needed updating.

Needed a littleTLC

We stayed here on our way to our destination and the room was clean. Our stay on the way back 4/1/22 was not as good. The room was not as clean (dust and hair bunnies on floor) . The room needs to be refurbed. There were stains in the sink and the tub had been scrubbed so many times you could see the cast iron. Husband wasn't able to regulate tub water temp so we skipped a shower. Access panel on wall was not secured making me wonder what might come out. FYI-Nothing did. No pests were seen. Towels and bedding were of good quality.

Strange electrician setup

Convenient to freeway and restaurants. Room was large but only plugs available were on lights over the bed so we couldn’t recharge overnight. No plug in bathroom to dry hair. Guy outside blowing 6’ trie type horn until about 10. Of course it was a Friday night.

Pretty gross. All of the comforters had stains on them. One of them had cigarette ash burns and this was in a non-smoking room. Expectedly, it did smell heavily of cigarette smoke. Trash was left all over the room. There was no shampoo or conditioner on the property. One of their awesome staff brought me shampoo so I'd have something. The light in the bathroom didn't work. There was no service on the tv.
